Description


In January 2023 fellow Stokies, DaveO Owen, Neil Owen, Paul Brown and Richard Raizada met up for a drink at a pub in Werrington where they formed a band called  ROGUE TURPIN.  The music is invigorating style of folk, infused with elements of punk and rock n roll.
The foursome  originally of  Sons of Clogger  formed in 2012 have reputation for their foot stomping, theatrical, in-your-face shenanigans, which has lead to the boys performing at a string of festivals including the highly acclaimed Acoustic Festival of Britain and opening up at Attila the Stockbrokers ’Glastonwick’ where Attila himself described them as The Men They Couldn’t Hang meets The Pogues a must see band with Immense intelligence for song writing.
ROGUE TURPIN are busy bringing back the original Clogger tunes and adding more brand new songs to their extensive repertoire...
