SONS of Jungle began as a meeting of 2 minds in the old school days thanks to mutual family.. dj Special Ed a.k.a. Dane Brammage a/k/a/ et al.,  was introduced to Alex Santos; later to be known as A.L.X., these 2 like-minded individuals began by mixing hip hop A Capella's with drum and bass or jungle tracks on Ed's 1200's to create on-the-fly turntable remixes that made hip hop sound better which they later called hiphop vs. jungle. soon Alex ,a technical genius began producing beats and original loops in fruity loops and sequencing/editing them in Cool edit pro to create unique jungle/breakbeat inspired EDM tracks, and later Alex introduced Special Ed to his d.i.y. production process, where Ed called upon his life-long back ground in guitar based songwriting to begin his EDM production career, and later as Ed's dj'ing shifted away from drum and bass to the more popular and commercial gigs of funky breaks and tech house, popular in Orlando ...ALAS! the SONS of jungle project was left behind while family additions required more 'fatherly' attention from Ed and Alex, and Special Ed quietly began conceiving new electro funk vocoder based music which ultimately led to a full press vinyl release on Kaleidoscope records in 2003 and ultimately gigs and live shows all over the U.S. please look up "dj special ed1" here on sc for the electro funk side of Special Ed..
