Re-used a 10 year old sample of mine from a song I made called ‘Sense Maker’. This track can be found on my last album ‘The Mood Factory’, after I decided to include it for the first time on any of my projects in those 10 years. I sampled this originally in 2015 after I found out my Nan had a rare terminal cancer. The vocal chops signify the pain of losing loved ones, with grief not making sense etc. But you can’t go on this way, as the sample says. Celebrate the good times. I wanted this to sound haunting and for the drums to sound like you’re stumbling through life as you face grief. So this is for those of you have lost someone.
