Re-used a 10 year old sample of mine from a song I made called ‘Sense Maker’. This track can be found on my last album ‘The Mood Factory’, after I decided to include it for the first time on any of my projects in those 10 years. I sampled this originally in 2015 after I found out my Nan had a rare terminal cancer. The vocal chops signify the pain of losing loved ones, with grief not making sense etc. But you can’t go on this way, as the sample says. Celebrate the good times. I wanted this to sound haunting and for the drums to sound like you’re stumbling through life as you face grief. So this is for those of you have lost someone. Thanks for listening and reading all of this 🙏🏼 Made exclusively on MPC Special Edition.

Welcome to the many Dimensions of DKODA. I try to create audio worlds within my own sonic universe. 

*I mix creatively and not for radio, I have nothing mastered on here*

I’m on this grind 24/7 people, come along for the journey. My page just showcases my development as I practice beat making every day. I just post the results up on here as soon as I finish a new one. 

This page mostly acts as a personal record of all the sampled music I’ve made over the last 15 years, since I got deep into my MPC's and started teaching myself. I just make what I feel and try to translate what’s in my head so people can hear it. I was exclusively using Koala Sampler for iPad since September 2023 but as of June 2025, I now own an MPC X Special Edition so all new beats from now on will be made with that like the old days! Please bear with me as I try to master a new tool! This also means my 2 year iPad and Koala Sampler phase has come to an end 😢 I hope you enjoyed the 1400 beats I made with it!

Having synesthesia, I see the colours, shapes, textures and movements of the sounds in my mind whenever I hear sound/music, plus scenes in my head. I try and use samples to paint and capture what I feel or want to say. I’m all about the feel.
