From the gate, Grooverider pioneered the Hardcore Jungle/Drum & Bass sound. A London based Dj, Rider has played across the whole country and worldwide. From its earliest beginnings of Acid House of the late 80’s (Hardcore) transforming into Jungle Drum & Bass in the early 90’s. Leading the way for his peers alongside Dj Fabio, a partnership that more than transcends time. Grooverider’s influence & selecting ability definitely propelled Jungle Drum & Bass music and helped shaping it to the sound we all love. Most deem him as the godfather of the entire scene.
