Just to introduce myself - it's Code from Subtle Audio Recordings. I'm based in Limerick, Ireland. My first love musically is D&B and Jungle but I like and play Techno / Dubstep / Electronica too.

I started my label 'Subtle Audio' in 2005. The aim of the operation is to release interesting and experimental breakbeat D&B. Since the inception artists such as Alpha Omega, Equinox, Breakage, Nebula, Fanu, Sileni, Polska, Macc, dgoHn, Naibu, 0=0, Senses, Fracture & Neptune, Dissident and many more have contributed beats to the project and there's more to come! DJ Hooligan and the Rough (Ruff??) Crew on Touchdown 94.1 FM from what sounds like mid 1992. A mixture of hardcore and techno along with an unreleased tune played off a tape by Touchdown's Enagee.

The tape jumps in the middle of the B Side to a Tony J set with him counting down the "Soundbox Records Buzz Chart"

Sound quality isnt amazing but the vibes in the studio are.

M.I.A - Bad Girls (MLRD Remix) [FREE DOWNLOAD]

So I found this old tape that I used to love ... dug it out to rip and it still sounds amazing. I taped this off a mate back in the 90s and did a hand-drawn representation of the original inlay for my copy (reproduced above). 

Side A/first half is the one. According to my scrawled notes it's an excerpt of a live show from 26th May 1990, complete with an unknown MC. A mix of electro, acid and techy house including tracks such Plez' 'I Can't Stop', some amazing GTO tune the name of which escapes me, and Charles B/Adonis 'Lack Of Love'. Side B has interviews with Eddie Richards and Tony Humphries plus a Future House Chart and a few more housey bits to round off. A great snapshot of an era I completely missed on at the time. Enjoy.
