Experimentation is nothing new to SOOHAN, and yet, the borders to his musical journey seemingly have no boundary.

Touching down with his sixth full-length project, SOO SOO STUDIO, Soohan further erases walls between genre and blurs lines between original compositions and sampled material, all while diving into new musical territory. Sounds from classic American pop music, house, Baltimore club, and drum and bass blend with Soohan's distinct affinity for regional folk and dance music styles from around the world - a rededication to his mission of drawing the path from foreign to familiar.

At 13 tracks and just over an hour in running time, SOO SOO STUDIO marks Soohan's most diversely-sourced work to date. Unfolding as a journey through an array of seemingly incongruous influences, the sounds come together with effortless style, leading the listener through a meandering rush of sounds, culminating in a euphoric finish. A must-hear experience for fans of polyrhythmic dance, club music, and rhythms from beyond the western world.

It’s just the right doses of nostalgia and innocence, for whatever journey you’re on.

Seancy's journey into media creation stemmed from a love of underground hip-hop culture that drew inspiration and elements from established channels yet created something completely new and innovative. His resourcefulness and fresh perspective on tried and true formulas, like vinyl sampling, audio manipulation and image overlay blending, led him to creating works that blurred the boundaries of genres and styles like hip-hop, reggae, electronic, bass music and funk. His video works stemmed from the itch to provide visual elements to complete stories the music was offering. Having a knack for vintage nostalgia integrated alongside current cutting-edge techniques has created a signature style that's noteworthy and continually evolving.

Sean Conners, aka Seancy, is a music producer, editor, motion graphics animator and content creator based out of Arizona & San Diego who has garnered praise from audio and video pros alike. His music has been released on ill.Gates label at Producerdojo.com and been featured in action sports clips for brands like Xzylem, Sector 9 and Penny Skateboards. He has crafted audio and visual content for brands like Sliverback, Ekzo and Caffiene & Green Podcast, alongside music video and promotional projects for his own music and other artists like Flowmads, Luke Rain, Aj Froman and DTO. His graphic design, editing and audio production skills have lent themselves to a versatile and comprehensive content creation methodology.
