The Unofficial 40 returns for a holiday sized edition and we had plenty to talk about. Josh and Bob finally get to weigh in on Bedlam, we breakdown the win and look ahead to West Virginia. Plenty of talk about the randomness that is Bookie as well. We also talk about the latest on the recruiting front and why things are so different this year in terms of info. Carey might be on the verge of a mental breakdown because of zoom interviews but the news about 'Coonsie' the walking racoon had everyone very excited. There's a lot to digest as we get ready for a big week of Thanksgiving and football, and even basketball as Lon Kruger and the boys get the season started this week as well.

U40: Headed to Morgantown, Sooners trying to impress again

We're just off of Cotton Bowl virtual media days and we have had plenty of chances to hear about where everyone is heading into one of the biggest bowl games that really doesn't matter in the end. OU versus Florida might happen, it might not because everyone is going home for Christmas. And you have to be fine with that! We record before Camar Wheaton makes an announcement and we still don't know if there is one or who it will be? Who will go and who will stay next year? Will anyone join Tre Brown? We got nothing definitive during yesterday's meetings with players. And who else will Florida be missing when these two "play" in the bowl game? It's going to be an interesting holiday as we head into game week with plenty of uncertainty surrounding the future. But the gang is all here and Josh and Bob weigh in on the Big 12 title game as well. Happy Holidays everybody!

U40: Transfer portal gets interesting, OU's real chance to win in 2021

Red Lines host Anya Parampil speaks to Rune Agerhus, General Director of the Yemen Solidarity Council, about the Trump Administration's recent decision to classify the Houthi movement as a terrorist organization. In response to the decision the Yemen Solidarity Council announced it would cease operations in the United States, while other international aid groups have denounced the move as the deliberate criminalization of humanitarian work. Agerhus explains why the designation makes it difficult for aid organizations to provide humanitarian relief to Yemen while providing historic context on the rise of the Houthi movement as well as Saudi Arabia's geopolitical interests in the country.
CORRECTION: Around 6:23 Rune Agerhus says Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi first ran for office in 1996 or 1997. He actually ran for the first time in 1994.

U.S. blocks humanitarian aid to Yemen as millions starve

So much to talk about this week as we dive into the history of Josh Heupel at OU now that he has been hired as the head coach at Tennessee. What's with Heupel's feelings toward OU? What ultimately led to Bob Stoops letting him go? How will he do recruiting at a powerhouse program in the SEC? We share lots of Heupel stories. National signing day came and left and the Sooners didn't have any new names to announce, but Lincoln Riley did talk to us about a lot of the new transfers coming into the program. The whole gang is here to take a look at the latest around OU as we talk Senior Bowl, Bookie entering the transfer portal, our media zooms with Riley, Alex Grinch and new Assistant Head Coach Dennis Simmons.
