Sophocles Arvanitis is a sound artist, electroacoustic music composer and improviser. His work explores different positions in the composition of systems, that can produce 
aesthetic results, the creation of sound material, the composition of sound. He intermediates ideas about structuring and constructed or intuitive form, the systematic relationships between humans and sonic environments and creates sound material that may be chosen or done out of several possible alternatives, using processes, field recordings and multiple loudspeaker setups, to compose environments of sound, musical works for fixed media and live performances.

Nikos makris is a composer, media artist and sociologist.
Born and raised in Athens and studied in Athens, Corfu and Rotterdam(the Netherlands). The present account is used for publishing works of  realtime  improvised compositions for electronic music performance sets and acoustic instrument. The form, the content and the realization of the musical works, are based on the approach to improvisation as an instant composition. The recordings are single takes of realtime performances by the composer.

Dionysios Papanikolaou is a composer, producer, computer music designer, and performer.

Education and Early Career

Originally from Greece, Dionysios developed his skills in writing and instrumental composition, focusing on improvisation with the violin, piano, and guitar. Before moving to Paris in 2007, he also earned a law degree from the School of Law of Thrace.

Career in Paris

In Paris, Dionysios pursued further studies in instrumental composition and discovered electroacoustic music. He earned a Master’s in Musicology, Creation, Music, and Society from the University of Paris 8 in 2010 and won the "Composition Prize" at the BBCNR. He continued his studies at the Pôle Supérieur of the BBCNR and later trained at IRCAM and the Manifeste festival.

Artistic Contributions

While studying at Paris 8, Dionysios co-founded the Unmapped collective, which organized concerts and improvised music performances. Since 2013, he has collaborated with various ensembles, composers, dancers, and musicians from traditional to experimental music backgrounds. He has also participated in educational projects and taught at Université Gustave Eiffel.

Presentations and Festivals

Dionysios has presented his work at numerous festivals and workshops, including Musica, Détours de Babel, FIMU in France; World Saxophone Congress XVI in England; Megaron and Electric Nights in Greece; Klangwerkstatt in Germany; MusikMarathonV in Austria; and Doubts in Finland.

Collaboration with IRCAM

Since 2020, Dionysios has been part of the RIM production department at IRCAM, contributing to projects across musical theater, dance, film music, contemporary music, jazz, and electronic music.

Cover art for my albums has been provided by painter Gerhard Richter and artist, musician, and filmmaker David Lynch.

At the end of 2024, I worked on several re-creation compositions which utilzed sonic elements from pre-existing songs by Brian Eno and David Byrne, Nine Inch Nails, and Grimes, from their albums "My Life in the Bush of Ghosts," Ghosts I-IV," and "Miss Anthropocene, combined with new music by myself and other musicians.

Earlier this year, I collaborated with painter Gottfried Helnwein on a short film called: Epigenetic Trauma Painting No. 1.

I'm presently working on a new music recording project.
