Lockdown Waltz (ηΜέρα 31ή Εγκλεισμού)

Here is my piece The Little Cornholio.  The name derives from the corn toy that the dog is playing with.  I wanted to write pieces using animal sounds since 2004, but felt discouraged up until 2017.  This happens to be my second piece that uses sounds that come from animals.  This piece is only a minute long, but it took me 3 months to create it because of all the experimentation that was done.

Sophocles Arvanitis is a sound artist, electroacoustic music composer and improviser. His work explores different positions in the composition of systems, that can produce 
aesthetic results, the creation of sound material, the composition of sound. He intermediates ideas about structuring and constructed or intuitive form, the systematic relationships between humans and sonic environments and creates sound material that may be chosen or done out of several possible alternatives, using processes, field recordings and multiple loudspeaker setups, to compose environments of sound, musical works for fixed media and live performances.
