Tying Mendiants down to a genre hasn't been the easiest of tasks.
The 7 piece outfit started out with Soul music at the forefront of their agenda, but their debut 'Beggars EP' would surely suggest that the band have been experimenting well within the perimeters of Funk, Rock and Hip Hop. Be it an intentional move or not, at times being referred to as 'Aggravated Easy Listening' is proving to shake crowds left, right and center.

Hi my names DJ DeathCap and i'm a drum and bass DJ. I have always had a passion  and a good ear for music. Long before i decided to be a turntablist i learned how to play piano and the guitar which really gave me a better understanding on the basics of how music comes together that helps me with me work today. I have been spinning vinyls for few years now and on the way have learned a few skill from scratch to beat juggling. I have really come to grips with the tables and am on them for hours a day. anyways that's a bit about myself and hope you enjoy my work. peace!
