I was very very excited to play again back at the Old baths after 2 years especially with their new 4 direction speaker additions and also since a long break from playing to the London E>D Family.

I am really happy with this mix and i trust you will enjoy this too. This mix is inspired by the first quarter moon on Aries, calling for dynamic and determined effort to over come what ever may stand in our way for positive growth. Seize the moment and trust your intuition, your commitment may be tested but you have the potential to turn an obstacle into your advantage.

This Mix did not disappoint to crowd both big and small and i spent a good deal of time, working out some beautiful mixes and transitions to facilitate a deep dive and with high peaks. Sprinkled with my trademark bongos to add some live layers, unfortunately not recorded, this was a highly enjoyed experience for all.

Sophie Auber est une femme plein de drive, d'amour pour la musique et de créativité. J'ai eu la chance de la rencontrer lors d'un voyage en France où elle offrait un set à Bordeaux. J'ai été ensuite la voir à Montpellier où elle tient les espaces de danses extatiques tous les mardis.

Elle est aussi la fondatrice d'Ecstatic Nîmes, Ecstatic danse Ocytocine et cofondatrice de l'Ecstatic Fest (festival français d'Extatic danse).

Le style de DJ Soph est définitivement éclectique. Avec un grand amour pour les rythmes, elle plonge dans les musiques du monde et l'électronique orientale. afrotronique et même neo-classique. 

Soph aime raconter une histoire qui vous entraîne dans ses montées et descentes, qui libère les émotions et qui permet de se défouler et de tout lâcher . Mais elle aime aussi beaucoup les sons de musique classique, de guitares douces, de piano enivrants et de musique médecine. Vous ne pourrez pas étiqueter son style, mais vous le reconnaîtrez.

Alexandre-César-Léopold Bizet, plus connu sous le nom de Georges Bizet, est un compositeur français né le 25 octobre 1838 à Paris et mort le 3 juin 1875 à Bougival1 (Seine-et-Oise). Il est un des compositeurs de la période romantique. Il est surtout connu pour ses opéras, dont le très populaire Carmen, et ses suites orchestrales, créés sur une courte période, puisqu'il meurt prématurément à l'âge de 36 ans.

Listening back to this recording, I felt such deep gratitude to share my musical artistry, no matter how batshit crazy it sometimes feels putting an Ecstatic dance set together. As always, it’s an honour to play the music created by so many talented producers and musicians some of which I know personally. 

So here it is, my latest set from our Ecstatic Dance in Bologna, at our wonderful new home, OfficinAcrobatica, a super cool circus space with perfect floors for dancing.

This live recording captures one wild journey. My intention, as always, is to awaken emotion through music and movement. You’ll hear a rich mix of rhythms and styles, raw, playful, deep, and unexpected.

I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did dancing to it 💜
