Kenneth Bager - The Sunset Sessions Vol. 9 (Full Comp) - 0247

This poolside Sunday session is a combination in between bluesy house, a genre I call 'cowboy funk', and a light dusting of nu-disco. Perfectly suited for the Hacienda's desert setting and crafted with love for a very special group of guests, everything came together beautifully. I was in absolute heaven, so much so that I had to play two versions of Kasper Bjorke's 'Heaven' track.

Sending off 2023 immersed in nature and surrounded by good folk. This live collaboration was the first time Tribal Freque and I have joined forces bringing together a unique blend of driving psychedelic bush techno layered with the hypnotic harmonies of the didgeridoo. 
 Despite some technical issues with mic feedback early on we are happy with the end result. Hope you enjoy the journey.

My closing set to match the VJ Party Starter from an epic weekend at Area 15. Letting it rip to wrap up the night, in loco parenthesis as it were, with a wild group of cosmic space cats. Kept it tidy at 60 minutes on the nose, before the security moved in to throw me off the decks. With thanks to V&J for bringing us all together, and big love to our stellar menagerie xx
