INTO_SUN_GLOW

I sweep the clouds
from the busy roads
fog is getting darker
sun’s a tiny light

Look out of the window
what do you see?

1000 lives moving
into the night again

as the birds are dying slowly
all the thoughts in my head
burning down like candles in a storm

in a quiet room I sit at dawn
of bleak memories
lead me back to the place I was born
disturb my inner peace

as the rain keeps crashing down
wired words above the ground
interfacing souls to feel alive
bound on darkened diamond moons
shape tomorrow’s healing wounds

sun will glow in the darkness for you

Sjonkel Rolfsen is a vinyl enthusiast and music collector from Trondheim in Norway. He has been welding records at local venues and events for two decades. Nowadays, he mostly enjoys to fiddle around with experimental and ambient in the comfort of his humble abode, but still get the odd epiphany to wonder out into the enchanting world of house and techno. When he is not fumbling about on the decks, he likes to travel. Weird and wonderful is the name of the game - a musical journey out from the Tea-Snuggery - way off mainstream: impulsive, spontaneous, demanding - hopefully never boring!

:(:/:) aka ThreeEmoji, is Tom Bossert. Born in 1976, his musical journey quickly led him to electronics. From Kraut Rock and bands like Cluster, Can and Kraftwerk in his youth, to the early 90’s with the start of the techno movement and club culture in Germany. His sets have always pulled on this progression, never purely one thing or the other.
One of his major influences is DJ Marcelle from Amsterdam, and her way of breaking conventions. Music is a world phenomenon and so its output should reflect this. Just like a nervous Zen master on tenterhooks, waiting for the very last sound, impulsive but deeply circumspect, it should bring together everything in a Jackson Pollock-like manner. For Tom, spontaneity and improvisation are always more important than perfection.

The Tea-Snuggery wants to invite the listeners to discover new music and artists from all over the world – enjoy and listen with care! q:
