I was thinking about online hate comments I’ve gotten on my videos and music. I was feeling annoyed and sad because people can be so mean. The people commenting made me doubt myself and my music at one point and it was very frustrating. As I was writing and working through my emotions, the song transitioned into an uplifting song about taking your power back. This song is upbeat and is meant to be empowering to people and encourages them to keep doing what they love no matter what others say.
