FORRESTA’s journey and passion for electronic music was sparked in 2005 when she experienced her first Trance album, DJ Dean-Tunnel Trance Force America, and was instantly hooked into the beat and energy. 

As a child, she would be seen singing in the front row of the choir, acting in musicals and shows, performing improvisational comedy and participating in set design and management. She was raised in Los Angeles by parents both working in the entertainment industry who were music fanatics. This further cultivated Sammi's appreciation for all types of music such as psychedelic classic rock and new wave 80’s which heavily influenced her love for PsyTrance and Techno. 

Being a Los Angeles Native, raves and concerts were just part of her life growing up. That culture showed unconditional acceptance, friendship, dancing and passion for music.

FORRESTA is an animal lover, foodie, avid traveler and an advocate for harm reduction, who truly cares about her fellow music lovers by educating and supporting the scene however possible. She has attended music events all over the world such as ASOT, Ultra, EDC and underground PsyTrance and Techno events in Europe, South America, Australia, the Middle East and Asia which have led her to a unique style which she strives to share. 

Now living in Oakland she is thrilled to be part of the Bay Area dance music scene, DJing, promoting, hosting and attending events.

A Few highlights include Tesla, Salesforce, Burning Man, DEFCON, QUEERCON and SLC PRIDE, as well as many many, dance music events; ranging from festivals to the underground. We are also hosts of Sonic Electronic which has been on the air for almost 10 Years. We love sharing our energetic passion for dance music, and while we’ll admit that djing is super fun, the thing that drives us the hardest, is our addiction to a good, positive dance floor.
