Originally from France, HighCUE discovered his passion for underground music at massive raves and psytrance festivals across Europe. After moving to Western Canada, he began blending the raw energy of acid techno with the groovy, melodic signature of the West Coast.

Today, his sound has evolved into a deeper exploration of techno, acid, and minimalist styles. With a love for old-school structure and analog textures, HighCUE builds spacious sets that leave room for live improvisation on his TB-3 acid bassline synth. His hybrid performances channel both nostalgia and innovation, taking listeners on unpredictable, high-voltage journeys across genres and eras.

Beyond the booth, HighCUE is also a community builder. With his partner, he co-founded Synesthesia—a Vancouver-based collective creating immersive underground events that merge cutting-edge sound with visionary production

Taking influences from his environments and his deep love for a wide range of music, the trained producer branched out into various genres, taking the essence of what he felt resonated most with him in that given genre and re-applying it into a different context and character. He created two different projects mainly infused by Deep / Groovy / Bouncy sounds.

SYNESTHES!A -  traveling through the faster moving realms of dance music. 

Synesthesia is a neurological condition in which information meant to stimulate one of your senses stimulates several of your senses. Synesthesia comes from the Greek words: "Synth" (meaning together) and "Ethesia" (meaning perception). 

Numeraki - venturing in the slower paced landscapes / beats.

"Nu" (phonetic pronounciation for new) and "Meraki" which is a modern Greek word, derived from the Turkish “Merak” (to do something with soul, creativity, or love; to put something of yourself into your work). 

The more freedom he is given to experiment and try out new things, the happier he is, forging together a mix of sounds which will surprise your senses and make you perceive music in a whole new light.
