Danke, dass ihr seid und diese Magie gemeinsam mit uns erschaffen habt. Voller Freude, ekstatischer Momente, einer extra Portion Wildheit und ganz viel Liebe haben wir den Katzenstrand zu einer Bühne der Kreativität und Kunst gestaltet!

Auch wenn es uns leider nicht vergönnt war, alle Audiospuren unseres Cat&Cow Konzertes aufzunehmen, sollen euch diese drei Stunden freudig daran erinnern, was wir gemeinsam dort erlebt haben!

Sooo, this was my first Splendour In The Grass DJ set  :) 

I was originally booked to play 2 years ago, but then that pesky virus got in the way. So when the time finally came to play, my genre had evolved somewhat. I name this set an ode to Victor Ruiz (lol. It channels a journey from worldly house, to chunky funtimes, to end in a wee bit of techno (because, thats where im at, although im sad the last track was lost in the recording).

Finally sharing this one. Made it in a few hours with the creative juices flowing! Usually it takes much longer to make a track but this one just flowed so nicely from the start. Great addition to a chill DJ set or a drive by the beach :)

Second in the series of experimental Andean fusion tracks with Robbie Sahonera from Los Masis. We were playing around with the big bass zamponas (toyos) and this emerged out of it. Robbie played all the zamponas and the quena and I played charango and everything else.


Altiplano Dub - Los Tios

This set is inspired by a recent Ecstatic Dance that i played here in NYC> at Judson Church and opening ceremony up at mysteryland on the original woodstock 69' grounds at the healing garden.  Here i give you a glimpse of that journey. Straight global beats from around the world, heavy on the latin, brazilian, arabic, soul, african and deep grooves. Recorded live in NYC. Enjoy.

money counts. Whoever enters the song stands in
a room filled with tears and broken dreams.
Nevertheless, it is pleasantly warm in the room. The
haze of liberal promises of independence and
mobility is still breathable there - knowing that it is
just this sweet air that is going to set your lungs on
fire and frazzles them. And this is how Cash Only
sounds like: like Americana played by blacks!

allowed to dance! While the bass rattles like Sly
Stone and the flow flutters like Garland Jeffreys, a
club spirit is adjured.The play of Tom Simonetti, Le
Roy & Frank Nägele has something of the
unbridled sincerity of an initiation ceremony. The
one who finds the guitar solo has won. And the beat
is just a cool babble as if Prince would play Rock n'
Roll. But again this is something nobody believes.
That's how it is with every club: you can give some
words of advice along the way, express some
suggestions and warnings...it doesn't help. You
have to enter by yourself!
