Sorrowmurk is a veteran Russian psytrance producer and beloved sound pirate hailing from Moscow, that weird, cold metropolis on the far edge of Europe. Sorrowmurk is a solo project of Evgeniy Martynov (known to his friends as Jorik Sorrowmurk), who is certainly not a newcomer to the music scene. In the past, he was a member the famous psytrance project Dissociactive, where, together with Slava Iskanyan, they released the highly acclaimed album “Blockout” on Acidance Records. After this, Jorik decided to take a break to gather new inspiration, and now he is back with fresh ideas, a deep knowledge of production techniques, and unlimited passion for creating cutting-edge psychedelic trance music. Under Sorrowmurk alias Jorik has already released a lot of tracks, EP "The Origin" on Sun Station Records in 2011 (http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/sorrowmurk-the-origin) and after a few years reframing his music concept and production has released full length album "Identity Disorder" on Basic Algorithm Records in 2014 (http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/sorrowmurk-identity-disorder).
