Long Beach California's own, Duke Contrail is determined to bring Long Beach back to its rightful place in West Coast Music. At 3 years old, Duke began to put words into sentences speaking almost as a young adult and by 4 Duke made raps about his day with his mother and siblings. Exposed to a life of gang violence and drugs, Duke Contrail endured a tough childhood. As a teenager, Duke found a passion in basketball which propelled Duke into college on an athletic scholarship. With the birth of his son as a young adult, Duke recaptured his passion for music. Duke has always enjoyed giving back to his community as music became his platform to tell his story to others.
