⠀⠀⠀Obviously, 2SP is influenced a lot by base TSSP. I always liked how TSSP went out of its way to have designs and ideas for way more than pipeline AUs normally do, and a lot of that potential's actually came through in a few Redline AUs. I think, of all the many, MANY 3Sames, Samety might be my favorite of all of them - carefully weaving TSSP and TSS&OP's vibes together to really make it feel like a "proper evolution" of Spamt rather than just another puppet with a wacky media/game theme.
⠀⠀⠀Of course, Samety is also one of those at the end of the day. And as much as I like it for it, TSSP's choice to have more ideas highlights one of the pipeline's like, structural quirks? Since obviously very few puppets step outside of the first few secret bosses, you have to just make stuff up from nothing if you'd like to explore that, more often than not. Redline kinda has it easy since it can branch off of what TSS&OP chose to do more of, there aren't any Attack of the Killer Queen pipeline variants anywhere but there, as far as I know.
⠀⠀⠀I'd wanted to do a Black Knife variant for 2SP back in December, to maybe go further and tackle all of the Berdly/Knight themes in a row, since they swap in 2SP for some reason. But, I got sidetracked with some some other pipeline project instead. Maybe I'll still do that later on
⠀⠀⠀By the way, did you guys know The Other Puppet: Backdoor is partly meant as critique on the Puppet Pipeline itself? Like one of the devs talked about it on Discord, the main antagonist is gonna be some multiversal threat and I assume that's gonna be where the commentary starts becoming a lot more obvious... My heart yearns for Simon G. Spamton to travel the Sloppetverse and meet TSSP: Cardoor!Spamt
