Tash's Movement Recordings closes out the month of August by welcoming Amono Dio to the label for their debut EP. Comprised of Kevin Sunray and Roni Iron, the Amono Dio project first emerged earlier this year with a string of releases via Italy's Frequenza Records. Both well established in their respective solo careers, Kevin and Roni boast a collective discography with projects via Armada, Blackhole, Kingstreet, Ministry of Sound, Nitegrooves and more. No stranger to Movement Recordings, Roni's label debut came in 2015 with a well received remix of 'Candy Lips' by T.Pals and John Teki, before going on to contribute original productions to the label's 'Modern Filosophy' and 'Technical Progress' collections, as well as his own EP project 'Hidden Places' which landed in 2020. Now making a welcome return to the Movement, Roni pairs with Kevin Sunray as Amono Dio for a two-track showcase entitled 'Sophocles', alongside remixes from Peter Makto and Reboq.

Returning to the label and providing the lone interpretation of 'Electra' is Peter Makto. The Hungarian artist and Truesounds label boss has firmly etched his place in the electronic underground with releases via Hoomidaas, The Soundgarden, Where The Heart Is and more. Having made his label debut alongside occasional studio partner Gregory S in 2019, Peter now returns in solo capacity for a spirited take on 'Electra'. Fluid and groovy in equal measure, it's a mix that carries the sensibility of the original, while adding a deeper vibe through meditative arps and fuzzed out effects. Building beautifully into the main break, nostalgic chord changes add an emotive flair, while ghostly vocal choirs eventually give way to buzzing tonal themes and a tastefully tranquil conclusion.

Inner Symphony welcomes back, rising star, Fidan with this, transportive, and highly emotive EP, “Distant”. Captivating soundscapes and ethnically emotive, heartfelt leads, this is a wonderful exposition of what is now becoming his signature.

Opening up with “Distant”, Fidan sets a rapid pace though a clubby groove, and upward inflecting melodic sequence. This classic dance motif is paired lovingly with acoustic, all encompassing atmospheres and an uplifting yet sorrowful piano and violin duet. “Good Girl” continues the organically derived theme with a touching and wistful violin and vocal duet. Complemented with a tribalized groove, the listener is transported to a foreign land of sunsets and oases.

Fidan delivers once again with this “Distant” EP. He is slowly becoming a corner stone on the sought-after Inner Symphony imprint with his immediately recognizable ethnic spin on bittersweet melodies and warm enveloping atmospheres. His sound emotionally and spiritually transports the soul skyward.

Based in Berlin but originally from Italy, Soul Button has undoubtedly made a distinctive mark on the Melodic Techno scene, starting his personal project in 2012 along with the launch of his label and brand, Steyoyoke Recordings. As the inventor and trademark owner of the Ethereal Techno subgenre, his artist name, Soul Button, reflects a strong conceptual identity.

Soul Button transformed his label into a real brand, first establishing the two sub-labels Steyoyoke Black and Inner Symphony, and later developing his own clothing brand, SYYK Berlin, as well as his own publishing company, SYYK Publishing. Well known in the electronic music scene as one of the most skilled DJs and producers, for his mental and soulful sets and tracks, Soul Button has affirmed his international exposure.

His career took off with many successful singles like “Swift Minds” and “Wraith”, the latter featuring acclaimed American vocalist Terry Grant. Tracks like “Reverie” and “Metamorphosis” were a great anticipation of his first album, released in December 2019, "Phantom Existence”, a 13-original track album that marked a significant moment in his career, followed by a remix edition in April 2020.

Recent years have seen continued success with the release of the "Pantheon" EP alongside Monarke, and singles such as "God Save The Rave”, "Crescendo”, "Merine”, "Infinitude”, and "Dalliance”, capturing the attention of techno enthusiasts worldwide. His latest work includes "Walking Straight Up”, a single that highlights his ascent in 2023, together with the collection, "Dual Realms of Sound”, which was a testament to Soul Button's evolving sound and his ability to capture the duality of rhythm and melody, further solidifying his place in the techno realm. 2024 sees his second official album "Master Minds”, which will be launched in April 2024, with preceding singles "Lumina" and "Tartribe”.

Having cemented himself firmly in the scene, Soul Button maintains focus on the continuous growth and development of his labels as well as his own personal career. The upcoming years will surely be busy with new tours and projects on the horizon.
