About Adora (SL):

Based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Adora (SL) has steadily built a name for himself in electronic music as a DJ and producer with a thoughtful and emotive sound. His music reflects a passion for experimentation and creativity, allowing him to carve a distinct path within the industry.

Adora’s dedication to his craft has earned him releases on several respected international record labels, including La Foresta Recordings, Balkan Connection 2, Electric Eden Records, and Big Bells Recordings. These collaborations have expanded his reach and given his productions a global platform.

In addition to his studio work, Adora is an experienced performer. He has played at various clubs and events, sharing the stage with both international and local artists. His sets, characterised by his energy and connection with the crowd, offer engaging and memorable experiences.
Adora’s music combines driving rhythms with ambient undertones, reflecting his evolving style and the diverse influences that shape his sound. This approach has resonated with listeners, helping him to grow his audience and gain recognition within the electronic music community.

Hoomidaas Records is the record label of the DJ/artist/producer/multi-instrumentalist Armen Miran along with his partner Christina Acobiance. The word Hoomidaas is a stylized acronym for the phrase “who made us”, paying homage to how past narratives shape the present moment. Armen states, "I would not be who I am if it wasn’t for my past." This shows that he holds a deep respect for experiential knowledge above all else and intends to capture that through this label venture. Furthermore, when isolated as “hoom” in Armenian it means “raw” and when artists are invited to be a part of Hoomidaas releases Armen asks them to imagine what the raw part of the sun (the other side of the sun that we cant see) would look like. He loves to challenge their perspectives and hear what experiential wisdom emanates from his fellow creators. 
 
The music, artists, and artwork/design are a huge priority for Armen. His mission is to hand-craft every aspect of Hoomidaas adding to its memorable intrigue via his experiences travelling and playing shows. He tells us that, "a few years ago I played a 12 hour set surrounded by the most beautiful artwork all over the walls of the space. That space is called Rambalkoshe. Since then we have been collaborating with Rambalkoshe and they’re who made our vision and art design come to life for many of the illustrations associated with the label." The synchronistic nature of the partnerships he embarks on are a strong indicator that intuition combined with drive can take you somewhere truly magical. 
 
Currently the label works with a handful of artists. They have each of their artists release a mix on their mix series called “Midaas” which comes out every two months. Additionally the label releases bi-annual compilations, one in the summer called “Hoom Side of the Sun” and one for the winter called “Hoom Side of the Moon”.

  He actively develops his own projects and collaborations with other artists, producing mixes and remixes of popular tracks that receive support across major music platforms and festivals.
  Known for his keen attention to detail and innovative approach to sound, Emrat constantly pushes the boundaries of musical genres, exploring new technologies and instruments in his track production.
