Somethings are just done better when they are done together and the same can be said about Soul Button and Sasch’s latest collaborative work ‘Unfold’. The two Steyoyoke men have come together to show just how passionate they are about producing music that is rich with feeling and emotion. Featuring two original tracks from the pair and two remixes from Antonio Olivieri and Anturage, ‘Unfold’ is belonging to those who really appreciate pure house music.

Starting things off is the heartfelt ‘Little People’, a deep and reflective track that meanders its way through gentle pad work and a lush vocal sample that echoes across a steady 4X4 beat. A rousing accapella and shooting synths collide with surprising wind chime sounds to create a beautifully delicate track to set the tone.

Russian duo Anturage make room for a more driven remix of ‘Little People’, as they implement a strong kick drum that puts power behind teasing chord lines. Still holding onto that lush vocal sample, Anturages remix finds a heavy bassline against the delicate pad work from the original to make for an engaging contrast.

Title track ‘Unfold’ is an uplifting affair that evokes warm feelings of partying to 90’s house in the sun. Brought to life by shimmering synths that race across the board and quirky samples that tease and provoke, ‘Unfold’ is a dreamy escape from reality with so much to give.

Antonio Olivieri dips his toes cautiously into this remix of title track ‘Unfold’ with a melancholic start that builds with patience. The finished piece is an eccentric and ever surprising remix with a strong dubby bassline. Feathered synth work falls like raindrops to put a final touch to this standout EP.

Karmaloft is thrilled to drop a brand new EP by the Austrian Multi-Instrumentalist Simon Handle. Nightwalk sets off with a pulsating, hypnotising synth. Surprising vocals, a straight forward beat and a brassy note make for a song that is truly worth listening to a couple of times!&nbsp;Tom Appl’s Remix is gonna be a treat for your ears. A slowly evolving drone is an appealing basis upon wich finely crafted clicks and flicks make for truly charming percussion. Also the vocals are perfectly wrapped in the warm bed that the kicks’ soft thuds provide. Cheeky and playful synth melodies round off a remarkable interpretation.&nbsp;DJ Enne’s production manages to be in no way inferior to Appl’s Remix. A rythmic bass line and the complementing beat pull you in instantly, compelling you to dance. In the first chorus by muting all drums he strips the track down to only synth and vocals thus giving the listener time to breath and brace for the hook line Enne plays with a charming Rhodes.&nbsp;Nightwalk is an adventure that invites to join in and hop along. Après un été studieux à parcourir les festivals en Europe (Boomtown Fair, Tomorrowland..) et aux Etats-Unis, Bart&Baker reviennent avec un EP aux sonorités radicalement deep. Ils se sont faits assistés à la post production par le producteur allemand Timo Jahns qui avait fait sensation en début d’année en sortant sur le sous label de Get Physical, Poesie Musik un remix autorisé par Sade elle-même d’un de ses plus beaux titres, « Pearls ». Timo est actuellement rattachés aux labels D :Vision et Get Physical.
Sur ce nouvel EP qui sortira en Digital mais aussi en Vinyl (via Kuroneko Media), on retrouve l’un des interprètes fétiche de Bart&Baker, Pheel Balliana, interprète du Dj star Joe T Vanelli.
« Invicible » est une composition sexy et dark traitant de nos addictions modernes. Quand à « Windows of The World », en référence à la société des écrans, il infuse une douceur troublante grâce à ce rework exclusif.
Ces deux titres font dors et déjà partie du nouveau projet de DJ Ravin, résident du Buddha Bar, à sortir courant novembre 2015.

After a busy summer, Bart&Baker are back with a solid package of tracks, remixed by the rising German producer Timo Jahns, who caused quite a buzz this year with his official release on Get Physical's sub-label Poesie Musik of an official rework of Sade's classic "Pearls". Timo has lent his magic fingers on two Bart&Baker tracks, featuring former Joe T Vanelli vocalist Pheel Balliana. 
"Invincible" is a dark and sexy tune, while "Windows Of The World" is a more sophisticated entry in Bart&Baker catalogue. 
Both tunes have been already selected by DJ Ravin from Buddha Bar for his forthcoming compilation.

Nach einem heißen Sommer melden sich Bart&Baker mit einem wundervollen Release zurück: neben einer Live Version von "Invincible" befinden sich Remixe vom deutschen Produzenten Timo Jahns mit auf der EP, welcher dieses Jahr mit seinem offiziellen Remix von Sade's "Pearls" auf Get Physicals Sublabel Poesie Musik schon für großes Aufsehen sorgte. Premiere: Chantitown - Cause And The Cure (Manuel Tur Vocal Mix)

Based in Berlin but originally from Italy, Soul Button has undoubtedly made a distinctive mark on the Melodic Techno scene, starting his personal project in 2012 along with the launch of his label and brand, Steyoyoke Recordings. As the inventor and trademark owner of the Ethereal Techno subgenre, his artist name, Soul Button, reflects a strong conceptual identity.

Soul Button transformed his label into a real brand, first establishing the two sub-labels Steyoyoke Black and Inner Symphony, and later developing his own clothing brand, SYYK Berlin, as well as his own publishing company, SYYK Publishing. Well known in the electronic music scene as one of the most skilled DJs and producers, for his mental and soulful sets and tracks, Soul Button has affirmed his international exposure.

His career took off with many successful singles like "Swift Minds" and "Wraith", the latter featuring acclaimed American vocalist Terry Grant. Tracks like "Reverie" and "Metamorphosis" were a great anticipation of his first album, released in December 2019, "Phantom Existence", a 13-original track album that marked a significant moment in his career, followed by a remix edition in April 2020.

Recent years have seen continued success with the release of the "Pantheon" EP alongside Monarke, and singles such as "God Save The Rave", "Crescendo", "Merine", "Infinitude", and "Dalliance", capturing the attention of techno enthusiasts worldwide. His latest work includes "Walking Straight Up", a single that highlights his ascent in 2023, together with the collection, "Dual Realms of Sound", which was a testament to Soul Button's evolving sound and his ability to capture the duality of rhythm and melody, further solidifying his place in the techno realm. 2024 sees his second official album "Master Minds", which will be launched in April 2024, with preceding singles "Lumina" and "Tartribe".

Having cemented himself firmly in the scene, Soul Button maintains focus on the continuous growth and development of his labels as well as his own personal career. The upcoming years will surely be busy with new tours and projects on the horizon.
