Soul Deep Digital and Echomatics are proud to announce the release of the Steep Swell EP, which is now available in the Soul Deep Bandcamp store!!  Echomatics, who hails from Vancouver B.C., returns to Soul Deep with another crucial selection of Liquid gems.  The release shows off Echomatics’ ability to write a diverse selection of songs that were all inspired by the tides.  Each track boasts a beautiful backdrop of ethereal synth pads, thoughtful string melodies, and lush keys.  However, the drums and the basslines take tracks to another level.  The Jungle influence is easy to hear in the first two tracks, with the chopped- up drum breaks creating the perfect syncopation for the soft backgrounds.  The third track, “Tidal Spill,” takes a more liquid approach, with its more straight beats, heartfelt vocals, and bouncy bassline.  If you’re looking for some uniquely inspired beats to free your mind, then this is the release for you. We hope you enjoy the release!

The Toronto-based producer returns to Soul Deep in outstanding fashion with six masterfully curated productions.  Ritual made waves with his recent single-track offering, featuring the vocals stylings of Tali & Valiant Emcee, called “See You Again,” and now we’re ready to unleash the full album of content.  The release kicks off with the title track, “Floating,” which blends rolling amen drums with jazzy horn riffs, and a warm bassline. “Bring Me Joy,” is up next with its punch drums, groovy Rhodes keys, and soulful vocals. “Bwaio,” is up next and takes a more Jungle sounding approach with its chopped-up classic breaks, funky bassline, and ethnic vocals.  “Ruffid” and “See You Again,” round things out with more Jungle/Liquid vibes.  The songs weave heavy Jungle drumlines, dreamy synth pads, and bouncing basslines.  Ritual, has burst upon the scene with a number of classic releases, and this beautifully crafted album promises to be another instant classic!
