The monthly "Clen's List" playlists comes from the great music that comes across on Soundcloud each month. Of course this wouldn't be possible without the work of all the producers, reposters, promoters, and suggestions from others, so thanks and big up to everyone out there sharing and producing these sounds.

Another goal of these lists is to promote the artists producing the tunes. There are some really incredible less known productions that float around and just don't wind up in the "spotlight". By including these productions in the lists, hopefully these great works get their time in the spotlight.

Look out for a new list around the end of each month.

P.S. Overtime the lists lose tracks that were originally included. I do not know if this is due to artists removing their tracks from Soundcloud (or the tracks get bought by a record company and then removed), or if there is another reason. I will try to keep these lists as up to date and as close to how they were originally as best as possible. As of February 2014 the original list will be in the bottom of the description.

It fills us with immense pride to be able to present a body of 10 remixes from all corners of Soulvent’s 10 Year back catalogue. Starting from humble beginnings, to now having released almost 600 tracks in a decade, we are truly thankful to both our original artists for some amazing tracks throughout that time and our remixers for creating some new experiences that are littered with great memories. However, none of it would be possible without our amazing fans, so the biggest thanks are saved for you. We’re truly grateful for your consistent and unwavering support you show us. We hope to be bringing you great drum and bass music for many years to come.

We eagerly welcome back award-winning remixer Nu:Tone for a sophisticated flip of ‘Back To The Sun’ from In:Most and Ruth Royall. The elder brother Gresham shows off his seasoned skills at all things liquid, with a soulful reworking of the 2021 original. Reworking the initial sonics of the original, we’re treated to calming chimes, rolling drums and soul-warming sub-bass in equal measure - while Ruth’s gorgeous vocals dance atop the instrumental. 

10 years in the making, crafted with love and care, we can’t wait for you to get your ears around this one!

Park Shadow is the project of Finnish producer Joonas Lehtinen, a figure whose roots stretch back to the late '90s tracker era. A very personal vision of drum and bass, this project reflects a balance between natural formlessness and urban grit.

With previous releases across the scene, Park Shadow arrives on Metalheadz with the 'Altitudez EP'. Goldie's interest in the title track set the course for an EP that draws on the roots of jungle and drum & bass while exploring its outer edges.

Across its four tracks, the EP unfolds as a journey - beginning in foggy melancholy, shifting into bittersweet, rave-charged energy, rising toward brighter, more uplifting tones and closing with an almost dreamlike sense of release. Breakbeat-heavy throughout, the 'Altitudez EP' is a release that carries the spirit of jungle into new terrain.

The most melodic of the quartet of tunes, All I Need begins more downtempo, before the breaks catch up. Perfect for closing a club night, MC Astro's vocals accent the riding drums. Easily Reminiscent of Adam F's legendary KAOS album.

SPACED (feat. Empheemer)
Classic deep drum 'n bass, the vibe rolls in thick after an intro of forward-driven drums. Spaced seems to build ad infinitum, Fantastic melodies, and a superb build after the drop leads to another chance to dance the night away. This one is sure to fill the floor
