Launching the first Escape Podcast 🚀 - a new personal project to bring more atmospheric sounds to the Dutch dnb scene!

Escape Podcast will be a series of drum and bass mixes including the styles intelligent dnb, atmospheric dnb and jungle, and other related styles. Maybe even the odd vaporwave track every now and then. It will be a regularly occuring series, probably once a month.

After releasing a METHXX EP back in 2021 we're very pleased to welcome back the Mancunian pair Response & Pliskin, this time as they lower the tempo for a retro-themed EP on HeadzState.

Built on a foundation of hypnotic melodies and high-class basslines, 'An Apparent Labour of Love' explores some of Response & Pliskin's deepest influences. Known primarily for their much-loved signature jungle sound, this is a breath of fresh air for both producer and label.

Treex has been a mainstay on the Soul Deep imprint over the years, as he continues to push his signature sound and gain more exposure with each release.  The French native represents his country in impressive fashion with his big breaks, bouncy basslines, and catchy musical elements, that create a musical listening experience that only Treex can provide.  The EP kicks off with the energetic and ethereal vibes of the title track, “Dr. Dream.”  The track rides along a filtering pad, which is backed by lush piano keys, soulful vocals, snappy drums, and a throbbing sub bassline.
