The lyrics are a heartfelt prayer for the salvation of loved ones who are far from God. They express a deep longing for God to pursue them with His mercy, break through their barriers, and reveal Jesus as Savior—not just in theory, but in personal, life-changing truth. much like my husband and I pray every night for those we love. It’s a plea for God not to let them drift into eternity without knowing Him, and a declaration of faith in His power to rescue.
