'Wrapped In Rhythm, Vol. II' is the upcoming album that is the result of a coöperation between South African (but Belgium based) singer Tutu Puoane and Metropole Orkest (NL). It is the 2nd volume of Puoane's double album project around the poetry of her compatriot Lebo Mashile, of which Volume I was released in March 2024. Volume II contains a 2nd batch of original compositions by Puoane and her partner, Belgian pianist Ewout Pierreux based on a selection of poems of Mashile's debut anthology In A Ribbon Of Rhythm, all arranged specifically for Metropole Orkest by Belgian trumpeter/arranger Bert Joris.
