Following up on Drubon’s well received „Snareman“ EP, Indonesian Cyda comes up with a non-less impressive EP.  
„Space Energy“ is the name of the debut EP of the award winning producer on Soulfooled. 
 
The title song “Dark Energy” was inspired by watching the 80s anime film “Gundam”. When he heard the Italo/synth influnced movie soundtrack, the idea for it fastly shaped in his head. Out came a modern Italo inspired dance floor weapon. 
Driving bass line, warped chords & dreamy arpeggiators, sounding like a journey through space. How fitting that ‚Hoag’s stuff‘ was inspired by a dreamy moment of Cyda watching the star-filled sky from his window, fantasizing about the life beyond earth. Buckle your belt and let the flight begin!
The EP is closed with - how can it be different? - a tune that he produced after watching the 80s cartoon called "Space Adventure“, that contained a lot of new wave sounds and 80s synth instruments. „In short: I always watch 80s movies that ‚smell’ like outer space to make music“, Cyda resumes...  ‚Space In Your Eyes’ could easily described as the second ‚A-Side‘ here and is rounding up this EP properly.

Following up on FAR&HIGH’s well received „Asperatus“ EP, Drubon follow up with a non-less impressive EP called „Snareman“ The fresh duo from Kharkov deliver a smashing 4 track EP including a remix from Diynamic’s very own Andy Bros.
 This release was born at the peak of isolation. During this difficult period, "our tracks were created to convey the rhythms of joy and sincere kindness in everyone's heart.“ Drubon say. „But it was also a total experiment“. A successful one! All tracks were created on a positive note - cheerful, optimistic, energetically powerful. 

"Snareman" is a bass and arpeggio dominated driver that rolls along until it’s dropping in a massive melodic break, but grooving not less effective after.  On "Silhouette" vocals were driven through the vocoder, while punchy kick and swinging percussion bring on a steady groove. The energy will catch you immediatly. 
"Rabbit" sounds sharp riveted, but has a lovely melody that is accompanied by an obsessive, octave-hopping bass - like an elusive rabbit!  Andy bros re-interprets the „Rabbit“ in a less jumping but not less flowing version. His Dark Side Remix is filled with a dark love pitched voice and synth, while a catchy beat also sometimes drives his version  back into „light“ in form of the strings highlights that are followed by 80ies inspired synth chords.

Definitely a masterclass tune from the young gun for memorable sunrise or sunset moments.

Far&High - Asperatus

After kicking off the new year with an EP by the duo „Aliot & Bunbeck“, the second EP comes from a Russian DJ & Producer „Mr Morek“. 
Already having released on „Sincopat“ & „Moscoman’s“ „Disco Halal“, he’s no stranger to the electronic music scene anymore and we are happy to welcome him with his debut on SOULFOOLED. 
The EP is opened with a track called „Immunity“. A word that, these days finds a lot of attention in different political sections - so also the track breaks through any walls and barriers of genres and stereotypes.
On the second track „you can hear a lot of different fractions of electro house and melodic techno.“, claims Morek. „For me, this is something new and therefore I decided to call it „Ampere House“.
To finish off the EP, Mr Morek has chosen to write something more mysterious & magical. „Arcanum“ sticks to it, though not losing any from of energy, that has been built up through out the entire EP.

After releasing Mr. Morek’s successful „Immunity“ EP, Soulfooled follows up with the next bunch of stunning peak time weapons, introducing Turkish DJ and producer Mathias Winnfield to the camp.
The EP is opened with ‚Enthalpy’. As the word (Enthalpy) in physics describe an undefined amount through pressure generated heat, this track holds what it stands for. A dreamy track constantly building up tension, with massive breaks that will guarantee the release of heat on every dance floor.
When Mathias started to produce ‚Dance without Spirit’ his aim was to find a good equivalent to the opening track of this EP. Moving baseline's and agile melodies builds the foundation of this track like in Enthalpy, though the mood has a bit of a darker vibe.
The EP is closed with ‚Less is Less’. A tune made of solid drums and bizar sounds, like a sympathetic nightmare. Combined powerful beats, it brings a perfect end to this EP as well as for a great night on the dance floor.

The EP is opened with "Nova Astra". Sounds of the OB6 and Prophet 10 Synthesizer guide the heme, which was inspired by the futuristic sound of "Blade Runner.
During the time of pandemic, when not much was happening in the club industry, Surface still looked optimistic into the future. With that in mind, keeping their productivity high. „Innerstellar“ was written in the same moment. Dark trombones, uprising synth lines and driving beats, make this tune an absolute peak time weapon.
The EP is closed with „Polaris". A track that comes along a bit more euphoric and emotional than the other tracks from this EP. Kind of like when the sun rises through the windows after a long night in a dark club. Modern Indie Dance at it's best!

Fleisher's tracks and mixes are filled with captivating original electronic music of various styles, revealing a deep sound and creating an atmosphere of wonderful emotions and feelings, allowing you to drown in waves of love to every sound. Combining melodic techno, deep house, organic and indie dance with her own voice, she has created her own style, best shown with this stunning EP.
The first track of the EP, All You Need is fueled with typical Detroit techno elements, such as detuned bass, classic strings, emulators Roland 303 synthesizer and Roland TR-808 Drum Machine, making it an absolute beast!
Maintaining the elements of the Ep, Vortex is about expression of untameable energy in breakbeat rhythms and burst impulses, inspired by Prodigy and industrial sounds. The track evolves to be a characteristic piece with loud, dynamic synths that constantly drives and guides you to the dancefloor!
The closer Just Like Me is a mixture of EBM and Electro styles. The raw vocal is one of the distinctive features of the track, which reveals its special vibe and atmosphere. Interweaving of synths and effects create futuristic and sci-fi sound.
The EP calls to dissolve in the electronic rhythm and fully surrender to the dance floor.

After releasing FLEISHER’s Vortex EP, Soulfooled is happy to start the new year with Matthias Winnfield’s second EP on Soulfooled. With the Rate Your Bad Trip EP, the Turkish producer is continuing his outstanding work of peaktime bombs.

The EP kicks off with an afro-influenced track Rate Your Bad Trip. A percussion- and drums-loaded tune underlined with trippy vocals.

The second track is Sphinx, a piece of high tension with slowly evolving predator bass sounds that also increases traffic as minutes passes by.

The EP is closed with the Those Were The Days track. Mathias describes this track “as the emotional one, supported with a bouncing bass line and some surprise drops at the end”.

Daso Franke was born in Poona (India) and at the
age of five was using the dance floor of his father’s disco as a playground, growing up with the music of Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix and radio pop. Now, living in Berlin, this multi-talented music producer, live act and party machine, is one of the most exciting artists to emerge in recent times into the global arena of the electronic music circus. Pawas Gupta’s music and creative drive resonates with his journey from his early days as a DJ in India to becoming an independent producer based in Cologne. From his classical roots in tabla and percussion, to his deep, Detroit-influenced sounds, Pawas has carved his own distinctive niche - a space where melodies, musicianship and atmospheric sounds fuse perfectly.

Alex Niggemann’s impressive A&R skills were once again highlighted when Dresden’s enigmatic Felkon, released his excellent, mind-bending debut track (“Creixell”) on last sum- mer’s “Soulfooled Cribs Vol.2 EP” (the second instalment of the exciting format that brings the ever-evolving Soulfooled family together). The resulting furore has now led to Felkon returning with a trio of absolutely stunning creations for his “Cry Wolf” EP.
The pulsating, infectiously percussive “Cry Wolf” opens pro- ceedings, layered with super-seductive ebbing and  owing melodic waves, and building towards a plateau of beauti- fully subtle, scarily spooky energy. Meanwhile, the equally engrossing “Eos” has its own distinct identity, pirouetting majestically around another masterclass of subtle, melodic, rhythmic beauty.
“Selene” expands the theme of melody within rhythm even further, with its gorgeous, heart-melting motifs. A wonderful hint of melancholic re ection, serves to create an atmosphere for the track that renders it in one’s subconscious way after its  nal notes have faded from the speakers.
As a teenager Felkon got his  rst experience of being on stage with “Die Pilger”, a fun punk band from his hometown of Dresden, Germany. After the band broke up in 2010, he took his  rst steps into the world of producing electronic music, a process that has evolved to now also playing live sets and DJ sets throughout Europe. Having previously released the “Sunset Stories EP” (Blossom Kollektiv) and the aforementioned “Creixell” (Soulfooled), his new “Cry Wolf” will surely mark Felkon out as major new talent to watch
out for throughout 2016 and beyond, proving what a great discovery he is.

With a deep love for classic analogue sounds, merged with the limitless palette of possibilities afforded by modern music-making technology, DJ/producer Kris Davies utilises his meticulous production skills and a flair for crafting distinctive, intricate soundscapes, to stamp an emotional ambient mark on all his tracks and mixes. Now, he is set for his debut single release with the ever-evolving Soulfooled family, with two exceptionally creative tracks. 

An instantly infectious, hip-swinging rhythmic backbone means “Aura” wastes no time before launching into a breath-taking display of creative genius, as it builds layers of melodic motifs, juxtaposed synth lines and flourishes to make it an irresistible musical delight – visualise a dynamic 121bpm ball of energy, pirouetting majestically around the dancefloor.
