Demuir is a artist we have been following for the last few years. If you are looking for sublime house music packed with club nous then he is always a go-to artist.

His latest release see's him unleash a brand new album Under The Waning Moon, via the equally excellent Purveyor Underground Inc.

Featuring 16 tracks in total inclduing 14 tracks of sublime house music and a couple of intros and interludes each track in it's own right is a bone fide club bomb.

Our premier today from the album is an absolute club throbber in the shape of Daddy's Girl. Proper classic funk fueled bass vibes all the way on this one, adding in huge speaker shakin drums, laser synths and a brilliant hooky spoken vocal this one is the real deal as far as peak time club tracks go.

Kicking off Fool’s Paradise’s 2024 in style, Ridney and Husky unite on a glamourous Disco House jaunt titled, ‘You Ain’t Breaking My Heart’, featuring Xira on vocals.

Loaded with all the essential credentials of a shimmering floor-filler, ‘You Ain’t Breaking My Heart’ boasts filtered brass hooks, decadent sweeping strings and funky guitars, wrapped in a powerful sultry vocal performance from Xira.

Additional mixes come from Husky, who brings a playfully uplifting piano house re-vibe, topped with a long atmospheric break down; and ramping up the funk factor, Chi-Town producer, Emmaculate, brings a live disco flavour, adding an irresistible funky bass groove and swinging discodrums.

The Joi-Fuhl is the new project from DJ/Producer Kwame Safo (more commonly known by his Funk Butcher pseudonym) the aim of which is to bring back the raw elements of soul and funk found in classic house music, but with a difference. The Joi-Fuhl exists as multiple entities but in this chapter it’s a duo, Kwame enlisting the vocal talents of ShezAr aka Sherelle Mckenzie, a fellow Hackney-born musician and 21st-century soul sensation. ‘Don’t You Worry’ features soaring gospel vocals behind uplifting piano riffs and an urgent probing beat. Baltimore house legend DJ Spen teams up with LA-based Reelsoul to put their more direct spin on the track with a classic soul house remix, followed by a special edit from Brian Tappert himself with ‘B’s Spen & Reelsoul Believe Dub’. A brand new addition for the much-loved label set up by Brian Tappert and Marc Pomeroy in 1996, Soulfuric lives on with brand new music to add to its celebrated catalogue of releases from dance music greats.
