The constant collaborator has made music with everyone from Jazzanova to Dimitri From Paris, the latter of which produced the recent Erodiscotique remix for Midnight Magic, landing right here on Razor-N-Tape.

To celebrate the remix, Rocca rocks his debut on the RNT Podcast series. He provides 90 minutes of perfectly-blended sample-laden house, electro-disco, global groove, and a few synthetic sizzlers to boot; all steeped in the well-season Italian tones we've come to love over the years.

Theory Therapy 78: basic chanel

When we approached Breixo Martínez a few months ago to contribute with a mix for SOULMEEX DECKS, we were not really expecting such a fast and enthusiastic response from his side. It really made our day to be honest. Much less did we think he would contribute not just one, but two sets. Starting today with the first chapter (expect the second one in late June), let’s begin by telling you a little more about this gentleman.

A cornerstone of Barcelona’s underground scene, Breixo - also known as Abu Sou - is a Galician DJ and selector with a passion for vinyl and genre-crossing sounds. Since 2007, he has been a vital presence at Discos Paradiso and co-founder of the influential radio show and label Canela En Surco, which champions everything from ambient and jazz to deep house and forgotten gems from the Spanish underground.

Breixo’s sets are soulful and richly textured, often rooted in house, funk, disco, and rare global cuts. His ear for music extends beyond DJing: with Pau Roca, he co-runs Escola Records, releasing timeless, analog-driven house music.

He’s hosted and shared stages with heavyweights like Ron Trent, Mr. Scruff, and Floating Points, while also curating reissues and compilations that spotlight lesser-known artists.

Through radio, vinyl, and the dancefloor, Breixo Martínez keeps the spirit of discovery alive digging deep and always playing with purpose.

Dennis Liber, born Dionisios Tsinaslanidis, is a Greek-Turkish electronic music producer and DJ blending deep house, disco, balearic, and tropical sounds. Born in Switzerland, raised in Greece and influenced early on by his uncle, house music pioneer Jamie Lewis, Liber developed a passion for analog synths, 303 basslines, and jazzy grooves. Now based in Tulum, Mexico, he channels the spirit of the region’s vibrant music culture into his productions and DJ sets.

Known for releases on Razor-N-Tape, Rocksteady Disco, and Delusions of Grandeur, his most recent EP Tropic State captures the essence of sun-soaked dance floors with collaborators like Lex (Athens) and Sariela Camargo. Liber’s music feels both nostalgic and modern-crafted for open-air parties and intimate club nights alike.

Feel Love Friday with Christian Woodyatt (and guest Michael Gray) | 30th May 2025

I started this episode slow and slinky, but switched things up halfway to road test a few promos. Tried to keep it a vaguely summery vibe this time, and covered lots of bases as usual.

This fortnight’s guest mix was from Leon Dahl, who’s an ace producer based in NZ that I’ve appeared alongside on some compilations. It also turns out he’s a wicked DJ, as shown by this mix - an hour and a bit of eclectic but very funky sounds. There’s a lot in here but it flows so nicely - there’s funky stuff, old school stuff, ghetto stuff, banging stuff… all the good stuff! And then a genius slowdown at the end - didn’t see that coming.

Luca Roccatagliati, better known as DJ Rocca, is a genre-defying Italian DJ and producer whose music fuses jazz, funk, disco, house, and italo with an analog, hands-on approach. A classically trained flutist from Reggio Emilia, Rocca began his journey in the late ’90s as Maffia Soundsystem, building his reputation through breakbeat and drum & bass.

Over the years, Rocca has collaborated with international icons like Dimitri From Paris, Daniele Baldelli, and Howie B, and formed projects like Ajello, Crimea X, Supersonic Lovers, and Electric Tree. His rich sound has found a home on prestigious labels including Compost, !K7, Gomma, Rekids, and Futureboogie.

Ràkale is an Italian DJ and producer known for his vibrant, genre-blending approach to electronic music. Born in Lecce, he has long been a respected figure in the Italian underground. Ràkale - launched in 2017 as both an alias and label - showcases his most personal and imaginative side.

His music fuses deep house, Detroit techno, cosmic disco, and afro-funk, creating colorful, emotional soundscapes. Tracks like Venere and This Goes Out blend analog warmth with interstellar atmospheres, inviting listeners on a journey rather than a quick fix.

Through the label, he also champions other artists, including XXXV Gold Fingers. Whether producing, remixing, or DJing, his work remains centered on groove, emotion, and storytelling - with a playful twist.
