From the smoky jazz, beats to the 4/4 house cuts, it's all about finding the sweet spots in between these various genres, and stitching them up. The result is an atmospheric soul number, skirting on the wonky side of things, recalling early Fly-lo and Shlomo sensibilities.

Hi there,

My name is 'SoulMetricSystem'

I began as a singer in a band but kicked out very soon, hahaha. But i came back!!!!! as a percussionist.
Since i was 17 years old I have played in different kind of bands, reggea, funk, fusion, jazz, dj's, etc. And different kind of places; clubs, festivals, student party's, etc.
For over 4 years now i'm trying to make music in my home studio.
The music i make is a blending of all those styles above. It's most of the time groovy, with nice rhythm patterns. Atleast i think so :-)
Most of the time the sounds i create are very different of each other. But that's what i like to do: making music i like and what's in my head at that moment of time!
