The Journey begins in late 80's, when two little kids Vlad and John, still not knowing about each others existance, sit & wait while their fathers come home and turn on the tape decks. Suddenly the room is filled with a warm and futuristic sounds by Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Modern Talking, Bad Boys Blue, Level 42 and many others. Since then those two little boys are loving this music like nothing else.  Time goes on, and the boys grow up and meet each other at the decks of the local club. They instantly feel that they love the same music and are on the same vibe. Just because of their childhood. So now they continue to produce, play and listen to nudisco grooves of 80's - just like 20 years ago - their fathers did.

Nicolas Barnes is a DJ and producer from Riga, Latvia, known for his deep connection to Dub Techno and minimal music. Founder of the ECOUL SND label, he has quickly gained international recognition with high-quality releases on respected European labels.
