This opportunity I had to play the soundtrack for one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen, allowed me to be soft, vulnerable and show a different side of myself.

Into Your Tribe (Remaster 2023) is a deeply enchanting tune with mid tempo rolling drums, raw guitar licks and tropical percussion under the soulful vocal. After a more chunky club mix comes a spine-tingling deep house rework by Bedouin complete with mystic synth leads and then a Nhii Remix offers something more textural and late night with cosmic synths bringing the tension. The Tebra Remix is another loose limbed and deeper workout with an organic feel and steamy atmosphere. Into Your Tribe (Just Emma Sunset Remix) has a lumpy rhythm that rises and falls under the gorgeous original vocal, Into Your Tribe (Hicky & Kalo Remix) then takes things into the cosmos with more heavenly sounding vocals and a rich array of lush synths, and a final Alternative mix brings some sleazy guitar riffs and a chanting vocal.

Danza Medicina is a prayer in motion — a downtempo journey where breath becomes rhythm, and light language becomes song.
Ethereal vocals by Simay Yaylacı weave through the air, guiding listeners into a space of inner stillness and embodied release.

“Breathe in, breathe out,” the voice reminds us — a gentle invocation to come home to the body.

This piece was born while composing the music for one of the central scenes in La Danza del Corazón, a beautiful short film by my dear Mexican friend Crıstobal Acuña, filmed in Paris.

It was in this sacred creative space that Danza Medicina came to life — a dance of liberation, a sonic offering for all those who move to remember.

Faunipulate ~ I designed this track with controlled chaos in mind, the name is a representation of how us beings have manipulated the fauna around us, the respect of the environment is always priority.

Every sound is a modular approach to sound design, using some awesome M4L devices to map the parameters at random but keeping a controlled rhythm, sitting at 120BPM we're just chilling to the dub soundscapes.

The Amazon is burning. Its rich fauna and flora, as well as its indigenous people, are in danger. The Rainforest is vital for life on earth, and we need to see this crisis as a catalyst for action.   

This set was recorded live at Newspeak in Montreal, and was made with all my heart. The intention is to raise awareness toward the urgency of the fundamental changes we must undertake as a species. 

We need to rethink our relationship with the Earth: The Occidental way of life is certainly comfortable and sometimes makes us feel like anything is possible… But hidden from our eyes is a plethora of highly unsustainable practices that need to stop immediately.
