For more than four years Alex and Saskia have been part of the electronic music scene, spreading their driving, deep, hence melodic and playful sound focusing on one message their music reveals to every single person: love! While Saskia‘s musical skills developed during early childhood piano lessons, Alex made first contact with electronic music with his “Minimal Lounge“ solo project. Releasing on labels such as Katermukke, Hanse Hertz, Plötzlich Music and Connaisseur Recordings it is their own imprint Underyourskin Records that has been causing a buzz lately and on which Just Emma releases their dark and melodic interpretation of electronic music. Therefore the duo prefers to play the early morning hours to attract the crowd with an ocean of diverse sounds.

Vor der großen Hitze hauen wir noch einen neuen Podcast raus. 
Diese Woche an den Decks die Jungs von Bergstock aus Köln.

Die Kölner Lukas und Kevin alias Bergstock pflegen seit langer Zeit eine besondere Beziehung zur Musik, genauer gesagt zu ihrer eigenen Interpretation von melodischem Techno. Dieser zeichnet sich durch tiefe Täler voller Emotionalität und druckvoll katapultierenden Höhepunkten aus. Das Zusammenspiel zwischen treibenden Bässen und sphärisch-gefühlvollen Höhen beschreibt ihren Sound genau. Höhepunkte gibt es zahlreiche, jedoch ist oftmals Geduld gefordert, diese wird aber belohnt.
Kennengelernt haben sich beide im beschaulichen Westerwald. Beide, der eine dort aufgewachsen und der andere in seiner Jugend aus Köln zugezogen, haben schon früh ihre musikalische Passion entdeckt, die sich über die Jahre immer intensiver entwickelte und von Jahr zu Jahr ineinander verschmolz.
Anfang 2016 beschlossen beide gemeinsame Sache zu machen und Bergstock ins Leben zu rufen. Zudem sind beide Mitgründer und Teil des Kölner Kollektivs @pelika_noir, das seine eigenen Veranstaltungen im Kölner Tag- und Nachtleben ausrichtet.

The cologne boys Lukas and Kevin have long maintained a special relationship to music, more precisely to their own interpretation of melodic techno. This is characterized by deep valleys full of emotionality and powerful, catapulting highlights. Their sound is explained well with an interaction between driving basses and spherical-soulful heights. Highlights will come, patience is often required, but will also be rewarded.
The melodic techno duo got to know each other in the tranquil Westerwald.
Both grew up in the remote area between Frankfurt and Cologne. After moving to the warm-hearted metropolis at the Rhine both intensified their previously discovered passion to rhythmic music.
In addition, they are co-founders and part of the Cologne collective @pelika_noir that organizes its own events in Cologne's day and night life.
