Armenian DJ and producer MakhmuriaN joins the Songuara family with a powerful club-focused single, “Dance With Me” – a driving piece of organic house crafted for true prime time. A thick, warm bassline, tight percussion and hypnotic melodic lines create a commanding groove that holds the dancefloor from the very first beat. This is not a sleepy or background record – it’s a bold, energetic cut made for peak moments in the night.
“Dance With Me” is already gaining strong support from key names in the progressive and organic house world, including Sebastien Leger, Tim Green, PAAX (Tulum), Andy Moor, David Hôhme, Ruben Karapetyan. Their early backing underlines the track’s blend of club power and musical depth – a combination that has become part of MakhmuriaN’s signature sound.
With over a decade of experience in DJing and production, MakhmuriaN is one of the central figures of the Armenian progressive scene. He is the founder of the Dialogue Room project, which curates intimate yet forward-thinking events in his hometown of Yerevan. His music has been released on respected imprints such as Mango Alley, RKP Recordings, Moovement Recordings and more, while on stage he has shared the booth with Ruben Karapetyan, Guy Mantzur, DJ Ruby, Space Motion, D-Formation, Chus, among others.
With “Dance With Me”, MakhmuriaN takes another confident step forward – delivering a club weapon designed for those moments when the crowd is fully locked in and ready to go all the way with the music.

Ewan Pearson can do no wrong, can he? For the best part of twenty years now, the DJ, producer, writer, and academic's been recording, releasing, remixing, and playing the kind of sensate focused house that feels like the sweatiest, most loved-up high you've ever had from a best mate at sunrise, which is why he's a firm favourite here at THUMP UK. We even considered erecting a monument to him in the middle of the office by the HR team didn't seem happy about the prospect, so we stuck to sticking photos of him all over our desk. Which makes us look like either the massive fans we are, or deranged psychopaths planning an assassination.

Just for clarity, we're the former, and that's why we're so excited to be letting you listen to Pearson's typically sublime remix of "Sleep Stream" by Berlin duo Languages.

The EP that the track's taken from, which arrives on Days of Being Wild on the 2nd of December, is the pair's debut, and it's a very strong start. Pearson's floaty and fluttering, agile and fragile, sultry and sensual remix is one of the most pleasurable refixes we've heard all year and if you're not charmed by it's lilting cosmic disco charms then, well, there's no hope for you.

Rich Lane - Prequels (clip)

Tel Aviv based duo Red Axes takes you on a “Tour de Chile” and we suspect one of the tourist attractions being some dirty leather club hidden in a former gold mine.
Producers and DJs Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi have got a new wave and post-punk background as members of another band called Red Cotton, and one can hear it from the EBM-ish dark techno sounds of the three original tracks featured in the “Tour de Chile” EP. They go along with two remixes by Soft Rocks and Bobmo.

01. “Tour de Chile” follows a mine-trolley on the tracks of hell.

02. “Sun Goes Down” shows some restricted angst with its slow-mo jacking.

03. “On and On” is undoubtedly operated by a nasty robot promoting its own conception of groove.  

04. “Tour de Chile (Soft Rocks dark and stormy remix)” has nothing soft; rather, its binary obsession hardens the mood of the original.

05. “On and On (Bobmo remix)” add the ravey twist that the French Boy is keen on. 

Additional background about Red Axes:
Red Axes is a project created by Tel- Aviv Based producers &amp; DJs: Dori Sadovnik &amp; Niv Arzi.
The duo has been performing together for over 6 years, first as members of the new wave / post punk band Red Cotton which is still the moniker they use for some materials today.
After living in Amsterdam and traveling in Europe for a while, the guys returned to Tel-Aviv and began an underground psychedelic electronic party series called "Break It!". 
In 2009, after a year of djing, producing and promoting parties all over Tel Aviv, they established a new vision and concept for all of their artistic endeavors - focusing on house, disco and techno and they started to release their tracks. Their first release "White Murder" came out on Statra recrodings from NYC. They also won a Beatport remix contest with their 
deep and funky interpretation of Yello's "Bostich" under the moniker Red Cotton alongside Shlomi Zidan. In 2011 they realesed "Bela” Ep and "Into My Dreams” on Klasse Recordings. 2012 starts with “Tour de Chile” EP on I’m a Cliché. 
In the Tel Aviv night scene they were booked to play alongside Luciano, Richie Hawtin, Pilooski just to name a few...
