Abdul Raeva are a pair of Estonian-based producers who have been making quite a name for themselves in a relatively short amount of time. Having only released their first tracks in February of 2020, the young upstarts are already garnering features on underground labels such as Gestalt Records, Mint Tea, Neptune Discs and Dance All Day Records.

Already building a reputation with their emotionally-driven dub techno melodies, Abdul Raeva seemed primed for a big year - reaching more audiences than ever before. 

In this month's edition of MixedBy, we catch up with Abdul Raeva to learn more about the little-known duo.

Our next mix comes from another one of our Bristol pals, Joe aka @Remotif.

We were absolutely blown away by his set at space lab a few months ago before our residents Space Cadets and instantly knew we had to get him on the mix series. Not only a fantastic DJ in his own right, Joe is a seriously skilled producer with a string of great releases to his name.

In this mix he expertly moves between breaks, techno, trance and more - enjoy!

Fantastic Man has become one of the most exciting and revered producers on the circuit having released music on the likes of Mule, Love on the Rocks and Kitjen. He is also the founder of Superconscious Records alongside Griffin James.

As a DJ his musical taste is broad and wide ranging, drawing upon far reaching influences from the realm of House, Trance, Downtempo, Balearic and beyond. As such you never quite know what you are going to get but that's all part of the fun right?

Most recently he has been dabbling in a fast paced, new age approach to House and Trance - channeling the free spirited energy of the 90's and a sun kissed era for dance music.

Some might feel it to be nostalgic but he is very much at the forefront of a new wave of producers and DJ's looking to breathe life into and reinvigorate the sound.

This mixtape is one of the best we've heard in a while and is rightly suited to a Friday.

It's been a while since our last entry in the mix series, but we're back with a bang with this one from Berlin's DJ TEETH 💥

As head honcho of the Hypersoft party series, Santi has been responsible for bringing some of our favourite artists such as Bliss Inc, Jane Fitz, Carl H and Solar Suite together under one roof for his legendary extended monthly parties.

Not only that, his bouncy, dynamic sets have been making waves thanks to his innate sense of fun and deep collection. It's a pleasure to present this all-vinyl mix from him bridging the gap between a diverse smorgasbord of different psychedelic sounds. Thanks Santi!

"This mix channels a lot of my inspiration from the 90s era of prog and tech/trance. A bunch of old records I’m digging with elements that influence my production. This mix is good for daydreaming those dancefloor moments where there is lots of energy, lights and haze."
