Bearded Lounge Sunday Sessions #40 by Iry Sabir 270725

Resident DJ Moll is on hosting duties this week, and treated us to a solid hour of the finest house music. Moll hosts his own show on NDC Radio called "House On Fire", and his sets always set the dancefloor on fire!

His guest for the second hour was Rue Jay, a UK-based house DJ and producer hailing from Birmingham. He is known for his blend of raw old-school energy and modern grooves which he  calls “nu-retro house.” He is signed to labels including Wh0 Plays Records, Stashed Music, Perfect Havoc, Toolbox House, and Let There Be House. 

A stalwart of Midlands nightlife, Rue has headlined club brands like Rocknrolla and Spin!, held residencies across the UK, and played major festivals such as Cream Fields, Forbidden Forest, We Are FSTVL, and Seoul’s World DJ Festival. 

His breakthrough track “I Want Your Love” topped Beatport’s house chart in 2025 with Carl Cox support in Ibiza.

Horsebox Disco #80 - DJ Moll and Rue Jay

This week’s host was Sean Benton, streaming from his luxurious Disco Palace in Dubai. His set is packed with sexy, funky disco grooves that will keep glitterballs spinning across the globe.

His special guest for the second hour was Paolo Bardelli from Italy, a true DJ Veteran with more than 40 years of experience behind the decks. He has played at some of the best Italian clubs, as well as being a resident DJ at the Half Moon Festival on Koh Panghan in Thailand.
As well as DJing, Paolo is a talented producer, having released several hundred tracks and remixes over the past decade, always full of pumping disco energy. He is also the owner of B Club Milano records, an awesome label that releases quality funk, disco and house.

Hello friends! Today I present you "Mixing 2 Souls" number 8. This week the guest is David Barrau Guiderdoni from Montpellier, France. David playing piano and keyboards in bands when a teenager, then, start spinning records when he was 20 yo. In the early 90's he went to London for a few weeks and met house for the first time. Then he played in many clubs in the south and in Paris too (The Batofar, the Rex, etc ...) Now he is a popular DJ on Mixcloud and in many web radio.
Our collaboration is mainly disco and funky with soulful nuances. I hope you can appreciate how the previous releases.

DJ Soulseo began to listen to music as a child, listening to bands such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Genesis, Pink Floyd,  all great artists from the 70s & 80s.

At the age of 16, he bought his first electric guitar and started playing with a group in his home city. In parallel to his love for Rock music, he also often went out to Discos, appreciating the great artists of that movement such as Chic, EW & F, Change, but he particularly loved 'that Funky music.
Two years later, Soulseo gathered some musical experience in a local radio station and at the discos. During the 80s, he lived for 10 years in Zurich and was able to follow closely the birth of the Techno movement. 
Then one day, about 15 years ago, he  bought his first modern mixer with 2 CDJs and started mixing - never stopped.
