Sharing a similar lightness of touch and a well defined ear for arrangements that veer long in the more musical end of the spectrum (as their latest promotional mix below displays), the duo have been continuing to serve up cuts and remixes that grab attention in all the right places earning plaudits from BBC Radio 1's d&b impresario, Friction. AI - FABRICLIVE Promo Mix (October 2014)

The Insiders hail from Bristol, a city that practically bleeds drum & bass. Producing and DJing as a duo, Ben Payne and Joe Wills have been making, releasing and playing deep d&b for over a decade now, running their own club night and operating the Intrigue Music label to house their productions. The Insiders’ sound has caught the attention of a lot of heads over their breadth of their career with their productions featuring on labels like Metalheadz, Creative Source, 31 Records and Renegade Hardware. Joining us on Friday 28th November to play alongside LTJ Bukem, Fabio and a special set from A Guy Called Gerald, they’ve kindly put together a promotional mix to help introduce their flavour ahead of their journey to London next week.

This is a remix I did for fellow music makers, Cloud City.  Jason Suedath's production and Laura Severinac's beautifully haunting vocals create a deep and mysterious sonic composition, giving me much inspiration.  

I instantly dug into this remix project, creating my own take on their 2011 original, 'Intense'.  Taking the dreamy pads, haunting vocals and crisp drums, I fused it with my own drum work, heavy sub bass lines and signature piano.   

 It's not the first time I have remixed their work and it won't be the last.

Indigo is name that has been buzzzzzing of late and when you take a listen to his music, it’s not hard to understand why.
He has released some absolute Gems on an abundance of almighty records labels that include, D-bridge’s imprint Exit Records, his own imprint Mindset and On the Edge to name a few.
“Neveah” is a deep musical journey of bass driven thought and precise production. It’s dark through to the core but extremely musical.
All in all a very well made recording.

Earlier this year Med School stormed into the Top 10 of the iTunes dance album chart with "New Blood 010", the first full length various artist compilation to be released on the label.
