“Su questa sedia” è una ballata r&b scritta da Nikaleo ispirata alla storia di una donna malata di cancro al seno, in cui emerge non solo il dolore personale ma anche quello dei suoi cari. La sedia, simbolo della lotta, perchè è lì, dove la sofferenza si riflette e si affronta.
Il brano cantato da Nikaleo, impreziosito dalla collaborazione del rapper Tecà, è stato composto da Piero Diatriba e Giuseppe Giancola.
Questa “versione originale” esce su Soul Treasure Records, a un anno di distanza dall’uscita di una versione del brano riarrangiata da Stefano De Donato (Dirotta su Cuba) e prodotta da Music for Love.
Il brano fa parte di un progetto più ampio, ideato con Carmela Palermo, che ha l’obiettivo di organizzare eventi in cui si discute del ruolo della musica come mezzo di comunicazione di prevenzione e cura e in cui si raccolgono fondi per le associazioni “Ui Togheter” e “Unfilodaria” che sostengono le donne malate di tumore al seno.
