Next up on Industry Standard we’ve decided to open up the doors again and welcome some new artists for ‘Bits ‘N Bobs Vol.2.  We have 3 tracks here from producers that are all friends with Oliver Dollar, namely James Curd, Jesusdapnk & Jason Merle.

First up we have Australian resident James Curd.  Having been a mainstay on the House & Deep House scene for some time, under his own name and as Greenskeepers, he has released on labels such as Classic Music Company, Exploited & Circus. His track ‘Born Twice’ is an uplifting jazz infused house affair with a hypnotic double bass b-line. A sure fire killer for the more discerning floors.

On track 2 we welcome US West Coast producer Jesusdapnk, who has featured on many of the hottest jacking house labels including Refuge, Robsoul, Too Many Rules and Nervous. His track ‘Anomaly’ takes a slighter deeper route with warm chords driving the track over a tight rhythm section. 

Finally on track 3 we have Jason Merle bringing some more West Coast heat! His track ‘I Gotta Change’ is a more underground, headzy affair with a track based around looping, filtered licks and a simply but deadly vocal sample. Not dissimilar to his output on other labels such as House Global Alliance, Cheap Talk & Viva.

So we have 3 tracks from some dope producers, providing you with top quality dancefloor Bits ‘N Bobs. Enjoy.

PREMIERE: Folkness - Night Escape [theBasement Discos]

The fourth and final remix EP for Francesco Pico's Perpetual E-Motion album marks a fitting conclusion to both the album's series of remixes and to 2024 for his own label, Magnitude Recordings. This special release brings fresh energy to two standout tracks from the album, presenting reimagined versions crafted by Yonsh and F-Act and Allan McLoud.

Yonsh delivers a powerful reinterpretation of Starting A Little Ruffer, amplifying the track's dark, driving energy with textured layers and a punchy groove that gives it an edgier dimension. Yonsh's remix retains the original's pulsating bassline while adding hypnotic melodic flourishes, transforming the song into a true dancefloor experience that stays true to the progressive spirit.

Meanwhile, A Hat Tip To The Great Alexander gets a distinctive twist from F-Act and Allan McLoud. Their remix infuses the track with atmospheric pads, lush synth layers, and deep, rolling bass that elevate the original's reflective mood. Balancing melodic depth with a driving rhythm, this remix brings out new emotive qualities that make it as engaging on headphones as it is in a club setting.

This EP not only celebrates the artistry of Perpetual E-Motion but also serves as a memorable final release for Magnitude Recordings in 2024, highlighting Francesco Pico's impact on progressive house and his support for innovative artists in the genre.
