France has been responsible for some of the world's best-known house and techno DJs over the years and particularly more recently. At one time it seemed as though our cousins across the Channel were lagging behind the rest of the planet, but with stars like Apollonia, Djebali, Molly, Yamen & EDA, Loquace, D'Julz, Chris Carrier, Phil Weeks, Francois X and many many more breaking through and flying the red, white and blue flag on behalf of their nation, France has really made an impact on the world of house and techno.

One of its newest, and brightest, young stars is Mr KS, who hails from the south of France close to Avignon. In just over a year he has come through with a spate of bouncing, well-crafted house cuts landing himself the debut release on Djebali's ( djebali presents ) label, as well as having music snapped up by Music Is Love, Overall Music, Just Jack and Slowtown Records.

So we thought we should hit him up for a mix, and he's knocked out a seriously good mixtape full of groovy cuts - including a couple of his own recent bits. It's another fantastic installment in our mix series and we're very chuffed to have Mr KS on board. Look out for an interview with the man himself very soon, in the meantime download and enjoy the mix, it's FRESH!

Chelina Manuhutu is a true performer and a real star.
Despite being surrounded with music in her early life, she found her fortune in the modeling business. But the true love never walks away.
So in 2011 after ten years of modeling Chelina and the music became professionally bound with each other.
She manifests herself in several occasions at various places all over the world, from Amsterdam to Ibiza to Miami USA.
With her Deep Tech House sound she puts down a funky and ruff image.

She also spends a lot of time producing music in her own studio.

Let's talk about Joey Youngman
The owner and A&R of Fetish Recordings, Joey Youngman has been producing house music since the ripe age of 11. With extensive training in classical and jazz piano, he had a strong foundation to start from. 

Most of Joey's early teen years were spent satisfying his obsession for making electronic music. Eventually, he fell so in love with house that he decided to focus his energy completely on it. This was during the peak of the 'massive' scene in California, where young Joey found himself inspired by the fresh new sounds of this music he so loved. 

After watching Mark Farina and Derrick Carter play to 25,000 people, Youngman picked up his first set of turntables, and began learning how to mix records. This new craft taught him how to move people with music, and enlightened him in his own music production. Joey soon began playing at clubs and parties before he was old enough to get in the front door. 

Now with over 10 years of production experience under his belt and a huge library of original tracks to show for it, Joey also finds time in his hectic production schedule for DJ gigs -- a way to spread his patented flavor of house music to the world. His discography is growing extremely fast, and shows no sign of slowing down any time soon. Future plans for Fetish Recordings include a great deal of Joey's original work, and a few surprises from some new groundbreaking artists; watch out for a new release every month. Youngman has also joined forces with Tony Hewitt under the alias "Young Governors," and Jonene under the alias "ManWhore."
