As long as I can remember I have loved music. The feeling that it gives me is almost indescribable. I grew up in the church as most of us did. Every Sunday, something would come over me and I would find myself singing my little heart out. Wanting to sound as strong as the men and women in the stands. This passion carried on as I got older. I grew up with so many different sounds, my voice and sound has no other choice but to be well diverse. From Mississippi Mass Choir to Patti Labelle to Etta James to R. Kelly to Whitney Houston and the list goes on and on. I just love to hear different sounds put with melodies you could never imagine. I have never wanted for something more in my life. Around the age of 8 not to long after my father passed away I started writing poems and songs. My first song was a tribute to my father and I truly believe he is always with me in all I do but especially in music. Since 8, I have continued to write. I continue to follow music wherever I go and now I'm ready to have music follow me. The last song I recorded in 2012 "The Real", allowed me to see that the passion is till there and I don't think it will ever burn out and I am so grateful to God for this gift he has given me to share with the world. I refuse to let music go. Music is what I love. What I breathe. I can't see myself going a day without it. So I never will.
