SOL musicians from around the world gathered together in the Sacred Sound Studio dome to explore the sonic space together. This album is part of what we created.

I keep these frames like a flickering reel
Fading

I sing the warmth I thought I knew,
shadows of touch flicker and drift.
Were these frames a dream or a code I followed?
Even my own voice feels borrowed,
fading like film caught between waking and wires.

Before the Screens

The story of the track began in the studio, while Janeuary was finishing another composition that was nearly ready for release. But in a split second she realized: this music isn’t the one yet. Without hesitation, she cancelled the planned release and, almost impulsively, recorded a demo of a new song that had appeared in her mind the night before.
“I just felt that this is the story that needs to come out right now. It’s probably my most reactive release of all. Pure impulse. But I know how to work at third cosmic speed. I’m inviting you to say goodbye to gravity with this track,” - Janeuary recalls.
Musically, the track is stripped down to its purest form: only piano and voice. The vocal you hear in the release is the very first demo take - recorded in a single performance, without any edits. It preserves every breath, every pause - all the vulnerability and truth of that moment.
Lyrically, “Last soul” presents a quiet, almost post-apocalyptic question: is there life after love?
