Anthony Rother is described as an influential visionary, an electro pioneer and one of electronic music’s most prolific producers. For more than two decades Rother aggregated a vast musical canon that reflects his unique career as a sound researcher exploring the aesthetics far beyond the boundaries of electro, techno and pop music.

Starting his recording career in the late ‘80s, the Offenbach-based producer established himself in Germany’s electronic music scene with his first two releases, "Sex With The Machines" (1997) and "Simulationszeitalter" (2000). In 1998, he founded his label Psi49Net, allowing him to keep his artistic independence and showcase his vision of electro music that cultivated a unique storytelling approach, guided by dystopian future visions on societal changes due to technological progress. The vocoder-driven vocals and the dark dystopian synth sound with machine-like beats have become Rother’s trademarks, even before he found international recognition as a science-fiction avant-gardist with the virtual electro-pop project "Little Computer People" (2001) and his 3rd solo LP "Hacker" (2002).

In 2004, Rother created the Datapunk imprint to evolve an immediate, more song-orientated language that used simple melodies and even autobiographic anecdotes collected on "Popkiller." Perceived as one of his most venturous endeavors, yet his sonic shift had a decisive effect on many artists' careers: The Hacker, Boys Noise and Terence Fixmer published on Datapunk in its early days. While some of the experimental ambient recordings for Pete Namlook’s infamous label Fax +49-69/450464 reflects Rother’s prolific output, he also worked and co-produced with several prominent artists such as from former Kraftwerk member Karl Bartos, Sven Väth and DJ Hell.

After its success, Datapunk turned into an enlarging business which devoured both time and creativity to make music. In 2013, Rother decided to let the project rest and took a break that he used to move his studio while only producing music for his HYBRID sets. Through his self- contemplative retreat, he eventually rediscovered the artistic instincts that brought him back to his roots; both in terms of his renewed independence as well as how he channels creativity as a producer. In late 2017, Rother resurfaced with an EP on Danny Daze’s Omnidisc and contributed the track "Technic Electric" to Fabric 96 mix by DVS1. Last year, Rother returned to his Psi49Net label with a new album "3L3C7RO COMMANDO" that transports a clear message: Anthony Rother not only lives in and through his pure electro music, he still has something to say – here and now. The past represents the future!

In April 2019, Rother will release two 12’’ on DVS1’s Mistress Recordings followed by another EP as well as a conceptual LP for Psi49Net in fall. Moreover, Rother will drop a 12-inch on Radio Slave’s Rekids offshoot Stranger In The Night.

AVID OF MUSIC SINCE THE AGE OF 13, AND INFLUENCED BY DJ’S SUCH AS KEVIN SAUNDERSON, DERRICK MAY, JUAN ATKINS AND TODD TERRY, LAURENT TOP STARTED OUT AS A MUSICAL PROGRAMMER IN 1988 ALONGSIDE LUDOVIC MARSHALL, AT THE SIS MOUSCRON RADIO. IN 1990, THE 2 FRIENDS OFFERED TO THE GALAXIE RADIO STATION THE « DYNAMIX », A UNIQUE CONCEPT OF ELECTRONIC MUSIC (NEW BEAT, HOUSE…) AND BECAME THE FORERUNNERS. THE PLACES HE FREQUENTED (SKY LINE, 55 FIVES, THE BOCCACCIO LIFE, AT THE VILLA..) ENRICHED HIM MUSICALLY. AT THE SAME PERIOD, HE IS FOUND BACK BEHIND THE DECKS OF THE « L’ALTESSE CLUB », BETTER NOW TODAY AS THE « MINOÏ ».
 
FROM 1991 TO 1994, HE WAS THE RESIDENT OF « L’EDEN » AND « PARADIS MALIN », BOTH POPULAR AND TRENDY BARS IN MOUSCRON. HIS MEETING WITH CLAUDE MONNET IN 1994 LED HIM TO DISCOVER THE PARISIAN HOUSE ENVIRONMENT AND THE PARTIES AT THE BATACLAN, ORGANIZED BY NONE OTHER THAN THE NOW FAMOUS DAVID GUETTA. DURING THE THEN CAME IN 1995 THE MAJOR TURNING POINT OF HIS CAREER, WHEN FOR 9 YEARS HE INFLAMED, WITH THE RHYTHM OF HOUSE MUSIC, THE AFTER OF « LA BUSH ». HIS MUSICAL OPENING LED HIM TO TAKE CHARGE OF THE GREAT HALL IN A MORE GROOVY STYLE.
 
FROM 2003 TO 2008, HE WAS THE RESIDENT OF L’ESCAPE, STAR ROCK, LAUREN’S AND LA BUSH. IN SEPTEMBER 2008, LAURENT TOP WAS OFFERED A RESIDENCE AT THE GRAFFTON CLUB EVERY FRIDAY. ALL THESE YEARS’ WORK TOOK CONCRETE FORM IN OCTOBER 2008, WHEN MURIEL OF THE H20 CLUB , GREAT PERSONALITY OF THE WORLD OF BELGIUM NIGHT, OFFERED HIM A RESIDENCE ON SATURDAYS IN THE MAIN ROOM. Durch Corona und viel Zeit habe ich beschlossen mich selbst mal auszutesten 😁 ...und nun hab ich Bock auf mehr ... 

Am 4.März 2021 nahm ich zu Hause mein erstes Set auf, stand das zweite mal selbst am Controller . 
Da ich es recht passabel fand, beschloss ich ab dann, meine (ZUM SELBER DURCHHÖREN EIGENTLICH ...Aber hab es einfach nur just for fun ...mit EUCH geteilt ) ..mit meinen dato Favorit Tracks...Sets zu machen ....

Chiq has always been a huge music-lover and his interest in electronic music started very early in his life because his older brother was a dj too... 
Hearing his brother spinnin' triggered the need for him to play his own sets... and so he did!

At the age of 14 he bought his first records and he saved all his money for a pair of decks and a mixer. After playing some small local gigs and bars, he got picked-up by the successful Dreamworx parties in Heist-op-den-Berg and soon clubs saw great potential in him.

He became a resident dj at Club Delite in Halen and made the Gorgeous room to a big hit thanks to his mixture of uplifting house, golden classics with an eclectic twist. When the club had to close due to issues with the owner of the building, he could display his skills at the infamous Club Illusion in Lier where he got into the groove. 

Today he's mixing @ Club Carat VDC and he is booked for a lot different parties. 

Also with his alter-ego AmbiHans he is booked a lot for private-parties where he tends to mix urban tracks and dance-releases with some disco and rock-music, allround so to say!   

in 2020 he got together with some friends and they started "We Love Music", a collective that throws parties in the region of Antwerp with only one goal: 
To just have fun playing music you like yourself!

He's booked a lot on cool festivals and events like Tomorrowland, Tentaçao @ La Rocca, This is 90's,  Razzia, Gold, Summerbeatz, BEACHLAND, City Parade, Candybar, BBC, ... 

He has shared the decks with superstar dj's such as: Eric Prydz, Martin Solveig,
Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, , Yves V and many more.
