For this @DarkScienceElectro premiere, we check in with @generali_minerali on Undersound Recordings

For the next release on the label, @undersoundlondon reaches to the Caucasian country of Georgia with this electro 4-tracker from Generali Minerali. The up-and-coming artist is the booker and sound engineer at the Drama Bar in Tbilisi. He opens the EP with two darker jams with swirly 303 lines on steady 808 rhythms. Influences from the late Microlith permeate these tracks, as the artist mentions him as one of his biggest inspirations. The B-side slows the tempo down with '808 Dream' where delayed melancholic melodies are intertwined with rough saw waves. Finally, “Evening Mood” offers the perfect mood for a warm-up or after-party with its downtempo swing and drums.

Not only was it in his character to be noncommittal, but indecisiveness and uncertainty seemed to dictate his every decision. It would take something very special - or, more to the point, someone very special - to change his behaviour. That day did arrive. He couldn't quite put his finger on what he liked about them, it was an unspeakable feeling that he'd never had before, but for the first time in his life he had no doubt in his mind about what he wanted.

First landing on Bristol-based imprint Shall Not Fade in 2018 with regular collaborator Newborn Jr., Warsaw-based producer Earth Trax, AKA Bartosz Kruczyński, has since gone on to house two solo full length releases on the imprint, LP1 and LP2 Ambient Dance, both back in 2020. Now he returns for his hat trick, The Sensual World, a release written and produced during the pandemic. Spanning a plethora of different sounds and moods, the 13-track release is another showcase of Bartek's ability to craft music that touches all corners of the electronic spectrum, from dreamy house cuts to emotive rave and pounding industrial techno.

Jealous Hours is the first full-length LP by the Tel-Aviv based DJ & producer Lily Haz. Featuring nine genre-bending tracks in her distinctive electro-dub style, the project playfully emphasizes & recontextualizes the role of sampling using cinematic references to nineties cult songs & movies.

“I’m a rapper!” says the kid to the cop. “Oh you’re a rapper? Oh, ok… Be cool, stay in school” the cop condescently replies.

Thanks to her unique approach to production, Lily takes us for a tour in her obscure, ethereal universe where hip hop’s supremacy is undisputed. Flirting with the club realm while fearlessly determined in her style, each of one of her core influences is essential to this parallel universe. Out there, pitched-down rap verses top obscure beats and rolling liquid jungle drums ; extended intros and outros riffle through the whole spectrum of human emotion. From anger to the puzzling humoristic dialogues she creates by toying with her own layered vocals or memphis rap samples, one cannot help but let himself dive into this ethereal consciousness outburst.
