Sound Transitions is elated to bring you a hefty slab of rapid fire electro and techno goodness from none other than DJ Panthr (AKA Akasha Systems). Source Drift EP is scheduled for release on January 27 and we couldn't be happier. With its three deep originals backed with three inventive remixes from heavy hitters Roaming Data, Deeprhythms, and Alien House, this is an EP that will absolutely stand the test of time and find a welcome home on any dance floor.

DJ Panthr takes you on a journey from otherworldly electro to emotive, pad-filled techno to deep, spacious house. The remixers turn the already excellent originals into something wildly new and different. Roaming Data ups the tempo of the title track while still keeping things razor sharp. Deeprhythms sets the mood with a wavy, eyes closed, hands in the air blast of euphoria while Alien House melts things down to a smooth outsider house interpretation of "Liquid Light."

There is something for everybody across the six tracks presented here. The personalities and flavors of the producers all shine through while still maintaining a cohesive feeling throughout. It is not to be missed.

Carrying on with the momentum from DJ Panthr's excellent Source Drift EP, Sound Transitions proudly present a wildly reimagined soundscape in the form of a heavy hitting Remix EP. With remixes from Selfhood, Quelaan, Dpcld, and more, the EP takes material from DJ Panthr's bag of tricks and spins it into something else entirely.

Starting with Selfhood's slow building, emotional interpretation of "Liquid Light" with its stuttering drums and laser focused melodies to the head-spinning rhythms and rumbling low end of the Pinz & Pelz remix of "Source Drift" to the delicate deep house stylings of Memphis Glass to the abstract, wonked out IDM of 88b's version of " Shadow Realm" and finally arriving at Dpcld's featherweight, aqueous drum and bass version of "Liquid Light" the EP is a thorough journey through all of the dark corners of dance music.

Each producer brings their own unique voice and style to the already great tracks that DJ Panthr provided. They take the originals to new, unknown places in and around the dance floor. These remixes keep you on your toes and keep a smile on your face.

Paris-based producer and CEO of emotional breakbeat Adam BFD joins the Shall Not Fade family with six emotive tracks, all driven by cinematic ambience.

The past two years have been non-stop for Adam BFD. This release represents his fourth full-length EP of the year, with previous ones finding a home on Lobster Theremin. He’s proven himself as a true storyteller, creating music which through melody reveals at once a level of introspection and an outward-facing expression of emotion that will resonate with almost any listener. Innervisions is no different, constituting what might be his most candid record yet.
The title track opens a door to hope: a sentiment which will stick around on the record’s B-side, as is demonstrated by ‘M1 & 1’. Although, it is left up to the listener whether this melody speaks more to feelings of ease of melancholy.

But ok ok, let's start from the beginning: Our own jpeg.love released her debut EP "Pleasure Times" last year together with producer extraordinaire Moodrich. These tracks were beautiful, danceable and vulnerable high-speed, highly sweet heaters, and still are. Her anthem "c u in my dreams" is our most-played track on SoundCloud and anyone who's ever heard the release will know it won't leave your head. Ever. It's just that good.

So, jpeg.love decided to ask some talented producers to create remixes of these tunes in their own unique styles. This Pleasure Times Remix EP will come out in early March and we have the pleasure time to premiere Young Lychee's contribution: A beautiful reimagining of the EP's opener "Zeit steht still", which manages to get your head dreaming while your butt is bouncing. His remix has that unique Lychee flavour of breaks-y club music that catapults you to a sweaty basement, but it also wouldn't seem out of place at a sunny boat party (remember those?). A true work of art which perfectly fuses the individual styles of two true artists!
