Acid Camp is excited to announce a new compilation album. The album celebrates the label’s 10 year anniversary with 35 artists—of which 25 are releasing with the label for the very first time.

As the largest release in the record label’s history, Acid Camp: 10 Year Anniversary Compilation dramatically expands upon Acid Camp All Stars Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 (both 2018) with more than triple the number of featured artists. Ten return to the label, including Eric Cloutier and Jeremiah Chiu, while Abby Echiverri, Bézier, Force Placement, and 32 more celebrate their first track with Acid Camp.

From Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Berlin to Tokyo, the artists represent the breadth of the underground and independent music scenes of the 2020s and underscore the collective strength of Acid Camp’s community since 2013. The release spans dancefloor-forward acid house and techno to ambient, downtempo, and funk selections. Lyrics are cut and collaged; synths are squelched; grooves are grooved.

100% of the album's profits will be donated to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), founded over 30 years ago in 1991. PCRF is the leading nonprofit organization providing medical care and diverse humanitarian assistance to countless children in the Middle East.

A well crafted piece divided in 5 different moments that portrait the mind state of L.F.T. living in an industrial city with mechanical and optimized routines. Sharing the A side is the punchy and muscular "Alles Was Du Hasst "and "Atomic Enigma", the last an introspective and mysterious slow tempo ebm-ish piece. "Zersto?re Eine Stadt" featuring vocals from Rosaceae is an emotive piece expressed through distortion pedals, revealing the poetic side of rage and trauma. "I Don't Like Your Party" plays around a playfully sinister melody and charmingly offbeat vocals that give this track a unique groove. "Dead Rat Under The Table" cools the whole EP down, ending it as intense and mesmerizing as it started.

Icelandic producer Jónbjörn returns to his Lagaffe Tales imprint to deliver four vibrant cuts on the ‘BROT’ catalogue.

In a small valley between two mountains in the Icelandic Westfjords, you can find the source of creativity for the Reykjavík based Icelandic DJ and producer, Jónbjörn. As well as being an accomplished DJ, performing in Berlin, Vienna, Munich, Tbilisi and festivals such as Sonar Reykjavik and Secret Solstice, the last three years has seen Jónbjörn carving out a solo career both as a graphic designer, and music producer developing a sound of his own working with labels such as Neo Violence, FALK Records, D.KO Records and remixes on his Lagaffe Tales imprint – the label he’s been running for the past seven year runs with his friend Viktor Birgiss. In 2020 Lagaffe Tales will introduce more artists on the BROT series which Felix Leifur started ever so memorably with a head- turning trilogy in 2019.

The opener entitled ‘Shamisen’ kicks off the EP with stabbing electro drums, fluttering synth work harmonising with the gentle melodies throughout while ‘Anthophila Anna’ provides a more techno- focused feel with raw modulations, acid-fuelled tones and surging, lo-fi rhythms.
On the filp, ‘Tinni’ deploys a menacing synth line, growing oscillations floating with the weight-driven kicks and snares offering up a peak-time dancefloor focused cut before ‘Sakuragawa’ rounds off proceedings with shimmering grooves harmonising with the aquatic tones and effervescent elements that pulsate until the end.
