Third edition of JAZZVE #Tunesbymates compilation is aimed to present the most talented producers from the Post Soviet region.

Aesthetics Vol. 3 will be released on 22th April on hand marbling painted cassettes and digital two weeks later. This time label's curators have collected sunny and soulful disco grooves with exotic spices on the A-side and dissolved in sophisticated experiments with sound and genres on the B-side.

Maya Q releases her debut EP for Scuffed Recordings, weaving together her own unique take on influences from across the UK dance music spectrum. The New England-born, London-based DJ and producer has been building momentum throughout 2021, both with her productions and as a resident of the Co-Select collective. 

The ‘Spiral’ EP follows Maya’s appearance on the Scuffed Presents 005 compilation in early 2021 with her track ‘Belief’, which saw support from Jaguar and Jess Iszatt on BBC Introducing, among others. 

Since then, Maya released her ‘I Just Wanna’ EP through DJ Pitch and Simkin’s All Centre label, which further established her esoteric production style and her place as an artist to watch in the UK’s electronic music scene. 

Closing out the release is ‘Drumpack’, with Maya’s eerie melodic pads and veering synth line dancing over a skippy garage-inspired beat, before introducing a grinding bassline in the second half of the track.

Berlin producer, Random Alias, returns with a post-lockdown reflection that includes dance-floor fillers and sonic journeys in electro, techno and acid. Nu Funk and its representation of simple efficiency, keeps it tight while retaining the free-spiritedness of funk. Its warm sounds take a more old school approach and are a call to retain an easier life free from fame, money and power to the single individual.

Up first is Man Without A Clue with ‘Baby’ – off the back of his debut release for Skream’s Unsound Mind label and support from Danny Howard, Bontan, Monki to name a few. An infectious vocal underpins the driving drums perfect for the dancefloor at any time of day or night.

Brand new music from Youan in the form of ‘Body’ takes us deeper and darker following from his stunning remixes for Just Kiddin, Grades and Mediate – with fans including Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Monki it’s good to have the fledgling producer back with a new original track.

Following his stunning debut ‘Our Story’, Made By Pete follows up collaborating with Hauser & Penny F to create ‘Duress’. Techy drums merge with a rolling bassline as Penny’s vocals smoothly flow building into a certified quality club production. The EP rounds off with Glaswegian producers Illyus, Barrientos & Tiptoes teaming up for a remix of last years anthem ‘Ballin’ plus a brand new cut from new producer Brightmoor with his debut ‘So Deep’.

Fully loaded rompers, drawing from influences both far and unexpected corners of the globe that have been proven to be tools for the floor. The Russian duo made their debut last year on Private Persons with their "Forever Punk" EP, leaving a heavy mark on lovers of tape-hissed electro, EBM madness, and acid-tinged worship. With their next release, Lomay EP, we see a continuation of that same energy, but with an even more broader approach; pushing the boundaries of what EBM, acid, and techno mean today.

I had so much fun in the last months doin those tracks. But the time has come to start new things. So for now I will not longer doin those straight edited tracks. But:

 - there is an album on the way with dancefloor edits (more info soon)
 - there will be some edits, made in the last months, released on digital compilations 
 - there will be a Yarn Init EP in the next months

So you should be satisfied with new music. :)
